Exposure to an alien drink destroy's all of Spock's mental shields and controls. But when what has been so long controlled and kept hidden is exposed, how will Spock react to his own loss of control? Can Kirk and McCoy help him until he recovers?

Stonn needs to find a way to patch up their world, to make sense of what happened during that insanity-laced afternoon three months ago at the sacred plateau. It would be so much simpler if he was only feeling remorse and guilt, but the truth is that he is also so angry at Spock and T'Pring that he can hardly think straight. He's had it with these Surakisi and their rites.

Someone from the Enterprise's crew must have their character tested by an alien "god" in order to finish their mission. Spock is chosen to represent the Federation, and he learns some things about himself in the process. (The title is a famous line from "Mirror, Mirror," but there's nothing Mirror about the story.) This is Kirk & Spock friendship, no slash.

Or: Five Times Spock wished he was more human, and one time he definitely didn't. They might be weak, slow, imprecise, emotionally compromised, and with little sense of either time or direction, but there are times when Spock wishes he had inherited some of those human superpowers. In an attempt to mend fences with his clan after the Babel conference, Spock accepts T'Pau's order to go on a traditional Vulcan pilgrimage. When Sarek finds out about the journey, and that it will take his son, and Jim Kirk, into the chaos of the Coridan civil war, he resolves to go after them. A tale of fathers and sons, conflicts and resolution.

What happens after the 5 year mission, AU after TOS. K/S. "I can still have my ship back. But the Enterprise isn't my Enterprise-" Another deep breath, "if you aren't on it." Sometimes it takes time for 2 souls to realise what they have known all along.

Kirk, Spock and Chekov are caught in a difficult ethical situation. Ethics, friendship, poor pre-First Contact society. "We stood by and saw your ancestors die, because they were too primitive? We stole whatever we thought profitable of your ideas and your arts, and gave them to our well-fed friends while their inventors starved?"

Tennek, a Vulcan scientist whose team studied the Human-Vulcan hybrid Spock as a child, comes aboard the Enterprise to continue the study. This brings up questions of ethics, medical consent and trauma as Spock tries to balance a personal wish for integrity with his feeling of duty. McCoy and Kirk do their best to help.

William Shatner's book – "Leonard: My Fifty-Year Friendship with a Remarkable Man" – sheds some light on the question of Kirk's relationship with Spock and how it came to be – as Fanlore says – "the first slashed couple of media fandom." This is a brief essay, not a story, explaining what conclusions can be drawn from the book.

After Journey to Babel, Sarek happens upon his son's medical records, listing all the injuries he has received during his time in Starfleet. This leads to a tense confrontation with Kirk about loyalty, trust, and who should be allowed to wield power.

Spock's behavior and health decline after his failed marriage ceremony to T'Pring. Kirk has to force his proud Vulcan friend to deal with the issues head on. ONE-SHOT. COMPLETE.

New Year's Day on an alien planet, a planet Spock visited many years before. Spock and Kirk return to witness the results of seeds sown long ago. Offscreen slash. Setting - Approximately one year after the events of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Betas - Danielle Stewart and Greywolf the Wanderer Notes -Written for the 2009 K/S Advent Calendar. On his first shore leave as the new captain, Kirk overindulges with the help of his friend and first officer, Mitchell, who abandons him in a seedy port bar. It is the science officer, Spock, who is missing his previous captain and is having second thoughts about joining the mission, who comes to his rescue. COMPLETE.

A story about the intersection of friendship and intimacy. Starfleet posts an admiral to the ship and Kirk quickly reaches the end of his rope with the man's interference. A distress call, additional passengers including Spock's father, a major misunderstanding, and it will take all of Kirk's charm and conniving to get his life back to normal. COMPLETE.

Kirk & Spock early friendship story. The five year mission has just begun and already Kirk has to replace his first officer. Trading his gregarious old friend Gary Mitchell for the aloof and enigmatic Mr. Spock will take some getting used to. Fortunately for Kirk, the dangers of space provide good opportunities to get to know your shipmates. COMPLETE

Set after "Tomorrow is Yesterday". When Captain John Christopher is forced to stay aboard the Enterprise, life becomes tense for Kirk and Spock as they set out on a journey that will inevitably raise the question: Who, what and where is Trinity? K/S

K/S. Kirk is understandably hesitant about starting a relationship with Spock; the last time he tried, Spock left to pursue the kolinahr. But when Spock becomes ill while visiting his parents on Vulcan, Kirk decides that some things are worth the risk.

Suddenly, he grabs you, fingers branding your bicep. The two of you stand frozen, twisted together against the wall in some strange, frantic triangle. / Kirk/Spock romance based heavily on canon, Spock's POV.

Spock gets turned into a woman, and Kirk...well, he has certain feelings about his first officer that need to be confronted.
