Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter. This is BooBack (http://www.fanfiction.ws/~booback) and SilverShiver (http://www.fanfiction.ws/~silvershiver) combined! Yes! Wow, I cannot believe that it has been over five years since Amber and I started this little thing called ShiverBoo. Over five years since Amber sat me down in our A.P. Biology class and said, 'Hey, Brittany, there's this website I found where people write stories and they put Hermione and Malfoy together...' Ah, that day changed my life. Now, it is nearly a month and a half before I graduate from University (with a B.A. in English, of course), and Amber has already graduated with the same degree. Though we do not write fanfiction much anymore (at least Harry Potter fanfiction on this website Amber likes other genres now, and I write on AdultFanFiction mostly), we still remember the good old days when we were actually sort of popular on this site. Nobody probably even reads these stories anymore, and maybe someday we'll actually get around to rewriting Travelling Back or writing our other plot bunnies--such as 'Consequences of a Handshake,' 'Luscious Malfoys,' and 'TOWER,' (which that last one, by the way, I don't even remember what the acronym stands for). And maybe someday people will not only enjoy our fanfiction, but our real fiction (or nonfiction as I'm actually currently in the process of writing a history of Scottish women in the Middle Ages). I'm just happy that for a time, we made people happy (or sad) with our stories and that we've had an impact on someone's life. Cheers, all. :) Love, Lemons and Chocolate Spoons, Brittany and Amber (ShiverBoo) We have 18 stories that we have already posted (in order): “Luck Of The Irish.” Which is our first story. We wrote it randomly during AP Biology. It’s very strange. “Ron Dies Alone.” We both hate Ron. If you like him, please refrain from reading our stories. “The Slytherin War.” This is BooBack’s favourite story. It’s a war between two Slytherins who want the same Gryffindor. “O Negative.” This is one of our best stories. It has a very in character Draco and a depressed Hermione. “Something In The Water.” Yes, a very strange story. There is something definitely in our water to write this strange of a fic. “Hermione Granger Fan Club.” A cute little fic, short with five chapters and yet very fluffy. “Their Wedding Night.” Our take on the Marriage Law. A Pureblood must marry a Mudblood to stop the interbreeding of Purebloods. “Merlin, I’m Good.” Main ship is Pansy/Harry, a ship that we also write. Hermione/Draco is in the background but still there…having fun with whipped cream, I might add. “The Anti-International Apparation Laws.” Long title, not so long of a story. Twelve short chapters. Not one of our best, but still nice to read. “Gossip.” Seriously, I don’t know how we came up with this one. But since everyone has asked, it is a threesome between Harry/Herms/Draco. “A Ferret For Halloween.” Yeah, what do you think Hermione’s going to make Draco be for Halloween. “The Pageant.” We started this story the same time that we thought of the idea for “Travelling Back.” It’s long and good, even if it is a bit of a cliché plot. “Wedding Night 2.” The Sequel to “Wedding Night.” You find out what Draco’s spell is in this one. “Ron Dies Alone, Again.” The Sequel to “Ron Dies Alone”…Duh! “Ditch.” It’s only called Ditch because the word is mentioned twice and SilverShiver is a strange person. It takes place in Florida and features a jealous Harry. “Ophiuchus: The Dragon Slayer.” The name doesn’t come in until the second to last chapter. Think about it until you get there. “Oobrevihs.” Yeah, opposite of ShiverBoo, who do you think is paired in this one? (We’ll give you a clue, who do we hate?) “Travelling Back.” This is by far our longest and most thought out story that we have written. Unfortunately it still isn’t finished and hopefully will be before we get done posting what we already have written. It is still posting. Ships we both read: Ships we write: If you read this, congratulations! If you want to know how strange we really are, read this… A conversation we had on the phone... "Hey Amber, is husbandal a word?" And the Origin of Confection-Covered Utensils… (Amber) Chocolate Spoons originated from an idea for a bake sale. I thought it would be fun to make those little spoons dipped in chocolate that you use for stirring coffee or cocoa. Then it became a 'thing' of ours. I was telling friend and he asked, "What's next? Vanilla Forks?" in a much sarcastic voice. I laughed and said, "Yes, I think so..." And so Vanilla Forks became law. Then I was talking in a British accent and we discovered Butterscotch knives because it just seemed to fit. Chocolate Spoons, Vanilla Forks... Oh, oh! And Butterscotch Knives! Strawberry Sporks were added later. So there you have it. The origin of the confection covered utensils. So that’s it. That’s ShiverBoo. If you like us, review. It’s what we breathe. If you don’t like us, flame us, we haven’t gotten one on Travelling Back yet, YOU could be the first! |
