![]() Author has written 21 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Supernatural. Hey there. Welcome to my fanfic! I started this account years ago to post my Buffy the Vampire Slayer fic. There's a lot of Giles/Jenny content, because they are adorable and sexy and my first OTP. But there's other BtVS stuff as well. There's a bunch of WIPs, and I'm sorry, I'm probably never going to finish them. Maybe I'll finish "Trust" at some point. Maybe. Now that I'm into Supernatural, I'm writing Dean/Castiel fic. Because, wow, why don't they just make it canon already. Dean and Cas tear my heart out and I love it. There's one Meg/Castiel story too. If you like what's here, there's a whole bunch of additional ficlets on my tumblr: angelinthefire (fanfic is linked in the sidebar). I'm on AO3 as ilovehowyouletmefall Also, there's that one Buffy/Angel/Supernatural crossover that I wrote. It's the longest thing I've ever written and completed, so I'm proud of it, and I hope you read it. Primarily G/J stuff: Fire: My contribution to the glut of post-Passion angst-fic. I think it's somewhat better than the typical post-Passion angst-fic. Check it out. Five Steps to Falling in Love: The Giles/Jenny romance, told from Jenny's point of view. The angst and conflict she goes through, as well as some lighter moments. Short and sweet. Four Things that Never Happened to Giles in a Kitchen, and One that Might've: Written for antennapedia's "Rupertus Domesticus" challenge on LiveJournal. The idea was to write Giles being all domestic. I used that as an excuse to visit my AU where Jenny is alive, and write some moments of familial bliss. And some moments of familial angst. Nuclear Fission: As I mentioned, I have an AU where Jenny did not die. Being alive, stuff has to happen to her, and she has to have character arcs that mesh with canon. This is an "episode" that would fit in near the end of season 4. It's a work-in-progress, and will be followed-up by a sequel that's an Angel cross-over. This Isn't A Kingdom: I'm going to throw humility to the wind and tell you that this is a great fic, and you should do yourself a favour and read it. I'm posting a chapter a day, but it is definitely going to be completed, so don't worry about me leaving you hanging. Trust: The oldest story I have posted here, it's still not finished. Of all my WIPs, this is the one I intend to finish first, as soon as real life allows. It's about Giles and Jenny, 12 years before Sunnydale, in London. It's a romantic comedy and a bit of a mystery. It started as an excuse for cuteness and flirting and angst, but then developed a plot. It's cute. Read it! Waking: Basically, my idea for how Jenny could be brought back in Season 8, in such a way that it would work with where the characters are emotionally. It's a work-in-progress, and the plot is still very sketchy, so it will be a while before it's completed. G/J content 100 Drabbles and Shorts: I think this contains all of one G/J drabble. Oh well. A lot of Buffy-centric stuff, a lot of Scooby stuff. I'm very happy with a lot of the pieces in this series. The first page has a helpful table of contents. Five Loves: Rupert Giles: Five relationships throughout Giles' life. I'm actually not too happy with the G/J chapter in this. But the other chapters are all very good. Giles/Deidre with implied Giles/Ethan; Giles/Olivia; Giles/Buffy; and Giles/Original Character. Five Things that Never Happened to J.: In case you haven't noticed by now, I love the "five things" format. I think it really lends itself to character studies. Jesse, Jenny, Joyce and Jonathan, and the lives they never lived. Non-G/J Five Ways Jesse McNally Never Died: Another five things that never happened to Jesse. Stalwart and True: This is my opus. It won Best Scooby Fic at the Shades of Grey Awards, and was the Fic of the Month for June at Buffyworld. It's Giles-centric (in a way), dealing with the effect of "Lies My Parents Told Me" on his relationship with Buffy, in a very different way than what happened on the show. Read it! Supernatural Five Things That Never Happened And One That Did: Castiel Kisses Dean: Pretty self-explanatory. A series of short one-shots. Recovery: Pretty much how I'd like to see Dean/Cas go in canon. That is, angsty and briefly rewarding, but ultimately doomed to heartbreak. Adversaries: Alone at the mental hospital, Castiel confronts the ghosts of his past. A one-shot character study. A very similar concept to the second chapter of "Stalwart and True" so if you liked that, and you like Castiel, I hope you'll like this. Playing With Fire: I wrote some Megstiel! Yeah, I kinda ship it. Meg is the one to find Castiel when he walks out of the lake. After that, they're moths to each other's flames. This Is How It Happens: I tried to write PWP, and ended up doing something stylistic and PG13 instead. Dean and Cas in Purgatory. There Is No "After": Dean tries to go back to his "normal" life after Purgatory. Wandering Through Purgatory: A collection of the ficlets I write on tumblr based on image prompts, edited slightly so that they make sense without the images. About Dean and Cas in Purgatory. Some are just moody vignettes, others are more about Dean and Castiel's developing relationship. Body/Soul: Believe it or not, this was another attempt to write PWP. But then it got way out of hand and ended up not actually featuring explicit sex. It's a character study of Dean and Castiel in Purgatory, in the context of how I would end up having them get together. There's a lot more about Castiel, though. And the part about him is written from his perspective. As in, getting inside his head, which resulted in some fun, stylistic, syntax. I actually really like it a lot. I hope you do too. Crossover A Demon, An Angel, And A God-King Meet In The Afterlife: The story where Anya, Illyria and Castiel are dead, and forced to interact with each other. It was so much fun to write these three together, the characters even ended up surprising me a couple of times. It's an angsty, funny, friendshippy story and you know you want to read it! |
