Hi there and welcome to my page. I’m purpleshrub (and no, that is not a reference to gardening!). I'm currently spending most (read: 99) of my writing energy on pursuing an MFA in poetry, and on an original fantasy novel. Still, I do have several SG-1 and HP stories on the back burner, and hope to return to them at some point.

Though I browse many fandoms lightly, aside from stories for specific RL friends, I've only written in Stargate SG-1 and Harry Potter. In SG-1, I’m a Daniel girl all the way—though I like Teal’c a lot as well. In HP, Remus is my favorite, but I do like Harry too. The only pairing I categorically refuse to read under any circumstances is Sam/Jack (in Stargate). I’m also a bit burnt out on Jack/Daniel, Harry/Draco, and other highly popular pairings.

I’ve probably at least glanced at one of your stories. I probably haven’t reviewed. I’m bad like that.

I read pretty much every category out there to some extent, but my favorite (and what I write) is pretty much always gen. I highly recommend (in Stargate) Nialla’s Breadbox Parodies, and anything by Redbyrd. In HP, I mostly read at this site, but I also recommend Harry Potter and the Emerald Tablet. It used to be here, but now is at under the author's name, Lady Alchemia.
