untitled gellert grindelwald / albus dumbledore because i would absolutely love to explore that emotionally abusive wretched romance, wouldn't you? it will start with albus and gellert first meeting and end with gellert hearing of albus' death. anticipate emotional abuse, manipulation, character death and sex. hot gay buttsex with lots of lube and prostate stimulation. i've been thinking about this one for a while. i don't think it'll be super long, 40k tops, but it will be painful.

untitled bella swan / edward cullen twilight series rewrite with less romanticized abuse, less romanticized nuclear family and way less unhealthily codependent bella/edward and a lot more reality, cynicism, and a splash of self harm. this is not going to be a nice fic. this is basically a criticism of the series. in fact, this is going to be me completely rewriting the series, starting with book one. bella gets sent to live with charlie because she self harms and her doctor and her mother both think that it would be better for her to get a change of environment. her self harming and coming to class with only a wad of toilet paper covering a cut is why edward flips his shit the first time he's in a room with her. also, no renesme because there is way too much sex-shaming in those fucking books and having sex lead to a horrible pregnancy and being to anti-abortion that you'd rather die than give up your baby is archaic and stupid and so patriarchal i could puke. also, no sparkling. something happens in the sun, just not sparkling. also, not dying. no one dies from sunlight. i've been thinking of this one for years, how i would change twilight to make more sense. the series always struck me as strangely middle-school for a series about high schoolers / high school graduates. so, there will be high school language, habits, sexual encounters, junk food, vices, emotional growth and self actualization. now, if i could only get the story out of me and onto the computer... this fic, if i actually start and finish what i want to acomplish, will be several hundred thousand words. (come on, the series was originally over 500k, if i'm gonna rewrite it, it's gotta be at least near that length.)

right now, i am participating in nanowrimo. i will not be publishing or updating until nano is finished.
