After saving an alien race from the Galra, Team Voltron sets down on the planet for repairs. They are welcomed with open arms – until the aliens find out that Keith is Galra.

Keith always needed to be strong for those who needed him. Lance tries to hide how much he misses home.

MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH. A mission goes wrong, and Lance has many regrets. Stranded on an unfamiliar planet, injured and dying, there's one last thing he refuses to let pass by without action. "Keith…I'm sorry." He pauses, voice as drowsy as he feels. He relaxes, smiling into Keith's hair and nose buried in inky black just as soft as he imagined. "I forgot to tell you…I love you…"

"You shouldn't have done that." It's a whisper, spoken from lips that are cold and white, a face full of horror and trauma. (Keith loves Lance. He loves Lance too much.)

Lance and Keith are making an escape from the Galra when Keith takes fire.

AU: Alphonse has his body back. And he's not going to forgive Mustang, Izumi, or especially his brother, for making it so. Deathfic. Parental RoyEd, RoyAl.

Lance suddenly feels like he has a sunburn—his cheeks and the back of his neck are all prickly, and his heart is beating a little faster, but that's only adrenaline or, like, maybe the early signs of heat stroke? / At Veradera Beach, the team plays beach volleyball, and Lance might be falling a little bit in love. Dick couldn't bring himself to face facts. Wally was really gone. Guilt swells within his heart and blame for his past actions hinders his need to say a final goodbye. Dealing with the loss of his best friend is the one thing even Nightwing couldn't fight against. He wants to turn a blind eye, but his father won't allow him to ignore the truth any longer.

"What if even one of you was left behind?" The words that would have been said to Nightwing are no more. In an instant a brave hero had been caught in the explosion. And all they found was his half lifeless body among the wreckage. Alternate ending to episode Darkest.

Season two: Tim watches Dick fall apart under the stress.

Richard Grayson has been buried alive. A wire transfer of twenty-five million dollars will be made within thirty hours to the following Grand Cayman account, or he will suffocate to death. Upon receiving the wire transfer I will provide you with Richard Grayson's GPS coordinates. This will be my last communication.

It had started as a joke, contingency plans made for various hypothetical circumstances, but then the world falls under mind-control, their mentors turning against them, and those rules made up in jest become something to survive by.
