If you're reading this then you've most likely found one of my stories and would like insight on the wonderful person that writes it.

I am JamRax and I started writing in 2017 as a hobby and an outlet for my various emotional problems. I dealt with a lot of grief and anger growing up and there were few things that made me really happy when I was at home. Games, cartoons and anime. Say what you will but Saturday was the best day as a kid. Waking up early to watch pokemon on Kid's WB, staying up late to watch the new episodes of Naruto, Dragonball Z and One Piece. Those things made me happy and I always imagined being in those worlds. Now that I can write them, I feel closer to them than ever! Sure, I may have outgrown some of them like pokemon for instance, but I can still look back on the joy that the series, both the games and the show brought me.

In terms of how I write is pretty simple to grasp. I try to establish a certain tone and atmosphere with the world and the characters while at the same time, making them understandable to the reader. In The Game of Prey, I wanted to set a horrific atmosphere. A more gruesome and morbid one. Mind you, it has a few light moments but for the most part, it's not pleasant for the characters.

In Blind Bravado, the feel is more in the emotional connections with each character. Everyone has their attachments but it's how they deal with losing them that matters most. It's a pokemon story that isn't about catching them all. It's about trying to establish what you are as a living being. The story is a balance of bright, happy moments but can be very dark at the same time.

Separate that from Monkey's Palm and Fallen Crown. Monkey's Palm is more so about strengthening yourself and your family while Fallen Crown is an adventure that doesn't take itself too seriously. It's more of a fun journey that you as the reader get to invest in. Both stories are my more lighthearted works and I enjoy them both.

If I look back at the first story that I finished (All In Your Arsenal), you can really see how much I've changed as a writer. From eight hundred words to eight thousand. Different pacing and all around improvements. I love that story but it had a multitude of problems. I don't mind them though. It was the first thing that I ever sat down and wrote from start to finish. It's special to me because of that. For those that ever do or have already read it in its entirety, thank you. It means more than you'll ever know.

I finally am at the part where I tell you to just kick back and enjoy them. There's bound to be one that you can enjoy. Most are more mature due to my filthy language. I have a very strange and unorganized uploading schedule though so keep that in mind...
