Yeah, training in Antarctica would be a terrible idea. With all the power Gohan can produce, he’d likely melt all the glaciers in a few hours. And all that excess water would have to go somewhere. Lots of places would get flooded and all the non aquatic wildlife would die. Basically, Antarctica can’t handle Son Gohan.

Honestly, I don’t think Aizawa is seeing things from Kaminari’s POV. Gohan has proved he can easily keep pace with All Might in a serious fight, something the rest of U.A.’s students can’t manage. And in such a competitive environment, a thought like that would be incredibly demoralizing to many.

That said, Aizawa’s perspective on Gohan’s desire to not participate is understandable too. Only those who really know Gohan will understand he would never carry himself with a ‘too cool for school’ attitude. And so far, only Sato would completely understand. Besides, Gohan’s only going to hurt himself if he doesn’t take a chance to show off his skills. He may be an incredible fighter, but he’ll need to know a lot more than fighting skills to become the next Symbol of Peace and Justice. Being only 15 years old, Gohan has a lot to learn.

I really hope Midnight doesn’t try anything with Gohan. She’s got to be close to twice his age. If she does, she’ll be jeopardizing both their futures.

Between training Midoriya, going to a movie with Ashido, and his Golden Blur vigilantism, Gohan’s going to be pretty busy on Sunday.

Gohan should really consider asking Dr. Shuzenji or Recovery Girl for advice with that dream and all of Midnight’s advances. Puberty is a tough phase for any teenager to go through.

My biggest criticism of this chapter is about Gohan handling his class representative duties. During the end of USJ, his opinion of Bakugo was low enough to wonder how someone as selfish and insane as that guy was allowed to get into U.A. And now Gohan decided to think maybe he isn’t so bad? It’s like you’re making him not realize how much trouble could happen if Bakugo’s attitude gets (more) out of control. The bomber’s been stewing in self-centered fury since the entrance exams and Gohan’s achievements only incites further wrath. While Gohan can’t be hurt seriously by the guy, that’s not to say Bakugo wouldn’t take his frustrations out on a more vulnerable target i.e. Midoriya.

The way I see it, Gohan’s going to learn a hard lesson in being more proactive in handling interpersonal issues and not be so hands-off in his approach.

Still, this is an excellent story. I hope you keep updating this.

I started reading this yesterday and had just now caught up. I have to say that I never watched DBZ, but I am really enjoying this.

HAHAHAHA! What a phenomenal chapter! Sato vs Kirishima was hands down one of the best highlights. It was Strength vs Speed and Durability, and the latter barely won out, much to the former's dismay, though Gohan managed to cheer his Best Friend up in the end, and even congratulated Kirishima for his victory. Let's not also forget Gohan managed to cheer Momo up from her devastating loss against Shoto Todoroki, and gave her Batman as an inspiration to draw from. Another highlight would be Ashido vs Shiozaki, with the former pulling off a surprise victory, thanks to her acid quirk powering through the latter's resilient plants.
Sero vs Tetsutetsu ended in a predictable win for the latter. Then finally, the match we waited for: Gohan vs Shinso. In a second stunning instant match victory from the crowd's perspective, Gohan promptly expels Shinso from the ring with a swift air pressure attack, not falling for the latter's obvious bait to allow him the chance to use Brainwash, winning the match with a ring out, much to the stadium's abrupt silence. I get what you mean regarding Midoriya vs Shinso in canon.
It was OOC for Izuku to be riled up by Shinso when he took constant abuse from Bakugo for more than a decade with acceptance and without much complaint.

Love your fanfic. I’m curious as to how you’ll go about things with Bakugo, Shouto, and Shinso. Also curious for Midoriya and Gohan, of course, but that sounds like a given. Definitely loved the Sato vs Kirishima fight.

Welp, I already anticipated Gohan was going to win his match the second Shinso opened his mouth. Getting thrown out the ring like that is sure to give him a killer headache when he wakes up. Dude had to learn the hard way pissing off a warrior hero who is literally strong enough to destroy planets is a VERY bad idea...

On another note, I loved the intense battles between Sato/Kirishima and Ashido/Shiozaki! They fought so hard they hurt themselves, or in Ashido's case...stripped themselves!

Wow, I just binged your whole story in one sitting and I gotta say I fucking love it. Just like you I kind of lost interest in MHA after Deku kept being such a fucking crybaby, but that still doesn't mean there's aspects of the show I don't like. Well, I will say that I just discovered this fanfic and I am loving its development so far. I liked the way you developed Gohan and he didn’t do some kind of Mary Sue like they usually do in dragon ball fanfics.

Regarding that last chapter, I also didn’t like what they did with Midorya in the canon, someone as smart as Midorya wouldn’t fall into an obvious trap but the author made Shonen asspull and wanted to show OFA, there would be better ways to do that in my opinion. What's more, Gohan fights since he was 5 years old and has been in life and death battles, so he knows better than anyone not to fall into the enemy's trap or give him space to plan something.

As for Gohan's Watchman acts, he can still get out of trouble if he decides to stop. After all, no one has ever seen his face.

Now I'm going to talk about something that I didn't like in the last chapters ... the references. While I enjoyed them, now they are just breaking the dynamics of the situation. The characters are already deep enough that it is not necessary to include them in almost every conversation. I am not saying stop doing them, but that you decrease the number. How about instead of making references in almost every chapter you give a time interval of 5 in 5 chapters? Because it is saturating the story too much.

Glad to see an update after I found this story awhile ago. Good to see some more interactions between Gohan and Momo, seeing as how that's the pairing for this fic and I've been hoping for more

I also get that feeling over the manga right now, as I've been feeling skeptical since seeing how powered up someone got.

Looking forward to reading more when it comes out. Also really looking forward to any future interactions Gohan might have with Nejire Hado, as I've always thought her quirk draws a couple similarities to ki from the Dragon Ball universe.
