Author has written 4 stories for Professor Layton. I'm just an introverted guy who currently studies fishery sciences at college. I also write and draw sometimes. Back in 2011-ish, my beloved sister introduced me to the amazing world of Professor Layton. Since then, I'm hooked into the series and grew up together with it, even today after Katrielle had You can find me at Tumblr and AO3 too, with the same username. Favourite Characters: 1. Luke Triton: This adorable fellow has one of the best (if not, THE best) character arc in the entire series, starting from a mini emo "oracle" to the cheerful apprentice he has been known since the birth of the franchise. I also relate to him a lot in my younger days, even I found myself picked some traits from him. Today, I always seeing him as a nephew of some sort. 2. Clive Dove: What with this madness?! A bad guy made it here! Seriously, Clive is actually the most redeemable true villain in the series, mainly because he was fully aware that his deeds was morally wrong, but his intense emotions means he needs external intervention. He also apologising about the mess he had made at the end, unlike some that just got away scot-free (Descole and Bill Hawks) or had already irredeemable to begin with (Bronev). And I like the idea of him being an older brother to Luke and Flora. 3. Arianna Barde: Well, maybe I like her because the forth game was my first Layton game? Anyways, I found her shares many similarities with Luke, though even more sadder. I found her totally cute when she was happy, especially with Luke. Oh, did I also mention that she was used to be my crush in my childhood? 4. Emmeline "Emmy" Altava: Here comes my current crush! She is pretty and kicks evil people's arses, basically she was the group's muscle. This young lass also perfectly blends with Hershel's and Luke's duo dynamic, which bridges the gap between their personalities. The occasional moments where she act like a big sister to Luke make it even better. 5. Professor Hershel Layton: He proves that being polite and smart couldn't stop you from being cool! His past was one of the saddest backstory I've ever heard, even they going as far as make his gentlemanly attitude just a mask to conceal his grief over his girlfriend's demise. I was so glad that he finally moves on after the third game, symbolised with him being hatless. Favourite Shippings: 1. Luke/Arianna: MY PRECIOUS OTP!!! Ahem, so I ship these babies straight away as I saw the scene where they're met. The Japanese trailer even outright said they're canon! They're so pure and sweet together, especially when Arianna finally kissed Luke at the end. 2. Clive/Emmy: Yeah, this one's unusual as they're even never meet canonically. I imagine that they will make a great team that tackle mysteries together thanks to Clive's sharp wits and Emmy's powerful strength. They like to tease each other playfully and throw sarcasms here and there, but cannot spit their feelings out. 3. Clark/Brenda: Quite odd that this canon couple haven't got more love. Come on, they're happily married! Clark even let Descole controlling him as long as Brenda wasn't harmed! An episode shows us that he was completely relieved after they reunited back together.
