On a hot summer's day, a wealthy business tycoon offers to repair and upgrade Cortex Castle for its residents. Doctor Neo Cortex along with his minions give their ideas for the re-imagined property and sign for it. The crew have to live elsewhere while the work is being carried out and they end up staying in the one place Cortex never thought he would be in his wildest dreams.

Sniffles has perfected his latest invention – a shrink ray; a handy piece of equipment for any situation. However, when electrician Lumpy indirectly shrinks Sniffles and takes the device, mistaking it for his work drill, the latter must retrieve it before something disastrous happens to himself or anyone else.

Ever wonder what Crash Twinsanity could have been? This fanfic is my interpretation of the game if it had the content that was scrapped and if it was longer. Cortex and Nina are played as more often. Cortex can use his hover board. Cortex Island and Wumpa Island appear as hub worlds. Plus, some of the characters at the start have a bigger role!
