I have created fanfiction and original stories in my imagination since my mother read "Lord of the Rings" to me in 1971. Through the years I would share my stories verbally with friends who were kind enough to take an interest. It was so gratifying when they would eagerly ask for updates on their favorite characters.

My interest in written fanfiction began in 2002, when one of those dear friends became ill, and I began writing Summerland as a "short story" to distract her from the ordeal of treatments and surgeries. 140,000 words later, I had fallen hopelessly in love with the entire process of writing. After fourteen years of winning again and again, Lisa lost her final battle and sailed into the West. Every word I write, I owe to you, my friend!

I have no illusions that my work will ever be high art, but I love telling stories. In all the glorious and diverse assortment of fanfiction available, should you happen to stumble across my offerings, I hope you will enjoy them. They are crafted with love.
