Author has written 6 stories for Escaflowne, and Trigun. (Dec 12 2003)I decided to trash my old bio because it was way too happy and hyper and utterly garbage. Well, parts of it anyway. So let's see, I hate making things up about myself so instead I'll ramble about other things. Like my slowness in ever finishing what I started. That has only one reason attached to it. School. The *cough* hellhole *cough* school I go to believes in slavery. Consequently I am a slave to homework, assignments and tests. It isn't until I will be able to escape this lovely education system *cough* vacations *cough* that I can rub my creativity (frozen by the evils of chemistry and math) back to life. Karma is karma, and I can't do anything about it. Meanwhile though, sit back and read some published novels. The works of Sigmund Freud, Franz Kafka, D.H. Lawrence, Achebe, Anton Checkhov, August Strindberg, Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov, Bruce Chatwin, James Clavel, Piers Anthony, J.K Rowling, Orwell, Jane Austen, James Joyce and many others can keep you entertained in heart-wrenching stories for hours. And take it from an aspiring writer. Those guys know what they're doing, unlike yours truly here who struggles with themes and characterization. A thanks is muchly overdue to those who have bared with me and who are still reading my fanfics despite the fact that I am so unable to update. Your comments and criticisms and encouragements and sometimes even flames have helped me become a better writer and have encouraged me to keep on writing. Thank you very much. A few More things to note: I will try to finish Thief of Hearts, just because I've got most of the story planned out and I only need to write it. Afterwards, however, I think I will have thoroughly estinguished the Escaflowne fandom and will most likely not write another Escaflowne story. I am, however, planning on writing a Harry Potter story. This time, though, I've learned my lesson and I'm writing a few chapters ahead so that I can have what to post if I get swamped with work again. I've also been trying to move towards a more original oriented perspective, because there is a certain beauty and impulse to create one's own story from the beginning to the end. Some of my smaller projects have included short original stories and poetry. As for my other works, they're more or less complete. I don't plan on revising them, seeing how my writing style back then does not match my writing style now. I can't bring myself to take them down yet, though I stare at the delete button every time I log in here. Umm... For all of those wondering, I do try to reciprocate reviews, though it does take me an awful long amount of time due to my busy schedule. Hopefully when things will clear up I'll be able to read and leave comments, as opposed to just read in a comment and not leave any comment at all. Well, look at that. I've ran out of things to say. I guess it's only appropriate to say good-bye and wish you all happy reading. ^_^ - PA |
