Author has written 6 stories for Super Smash Brothers, Xenoblade Chronicles, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Fire Emblem. Introduction An up-and-coming writer on this site. If you're curious about the name, the anomalocaris is an extinct shrimp-like creature from the Cambrian era. They're really cool critters, and one of my favorite animals, so I figured I'd name myself after them. My PM box is always open, though I can't promise I have much to talk about. I do always try to respond to reviews, however, if only to express gratitude. I'm also available on Archive Of Our Own, under the same name (but with an underscore instead of a space). Update: 12/14/18: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is fine and dandy, but how about that Smash 4 fic I've been writing for a few years, eh? Eh? There's an update, check it out if you still care. Writing projects Current Projects: Lost in Transition: A Super Smash Bros. fanfic that serves as an adventure set between Brawl and For 3DS/Wii U. To stop a multiversal threat, all the old veterans must come together (and meet all the newcomers along the way) and travel from world to world. Primarily a comedic parody, as evidenced by everybody being wildly out-of-character. Updates are sporadic. I'm aiming for around 45-50 chapters, though realistically I'll probably wrap the story up in a little over 30. Upcoming Projects: All upcoming projects are subject to change or termination at any time. It's my profile, I can do whatever the hell I want with it. Unnamed semi-sequel to Lost in Transition: I call it a semi-sequel because it's not really the same genre as Lost in Transition; instead of an adventure, it's going to be more of an episodic situational comedy along the lines of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or other similar shows. However, it's set in the same universe as Lost in Transition, and as such will have the same absurd characterizations and some shared running gags. That being said, I intend to write it in such a way that one can read it without having read Lost in Transition. I actually have a lot of ideas for it already, more than even its prequel. That combined with its looser structure should mean updates won't be as sporadic. This one is DEFINITELY happening. I'm eager to start it, in fact. Smack My Glitch Up: Also set in the same continuity as Lost in Transition. An examination of some of the more amusing glitches that can occur in the Super Smash Bros. series, and how characters would react to them occuring. May be run concurrently with the above sequel, may be saved for later, or may simply not happen, depending on how fast I write and how I feel. Unnamed Fire Emblem Awakening fanfic: Set after the events of the game. It turns out Anna's actually been tallying up quite a large bill for her services rendered in the Ylissean army; large enough that Chrom has no way of paying it even with the whole country's treasury! So he does what any sensible leader would do and hands it off to his trusty tactician. How will Robin possibly pay off such a continental debt? Well, Anna's always wanted to expand into the restaurant business, and could always use some employees willing to work low-wage jobs... Finished Projects: Excluding one-chapter stories... None yet. I'm a lazy asshole. https:///raw/GsUqUdVk Closing I don't really take requests normally, but if you like my writing style and really want to see me write something small for you I suppose I could try, depending on how much I like the idea. But no promises. I can beta-read if you want, maybe. |
