 Author has written 1 story for Final Fantasy VII. I used to be known as "Dramaya M. Murasaki" on not just this site, but many others. Now I have changed almost all of them to either "Jacqueline Chroma", "Jack Chroma", or something along those lines. It's been at least three or four years since I've done anything with this account. Yeesh. I'm at least proud of myself for having finished the first part of my story, "Illusory Flame: Embers", but then time got away from me, as well as motivation. Even though I began work on the next planned installment, "Inferno", I became convinced I was done with fanfiction forever and started focusing on other projects. Admittedly, though, I think that because I had been working on "Illusory Flame" for so long (since 2006 no less), I couldn't get it off my mind--something continued to compel me to want to finish it. I even went back and almost completely reworked some early chapters of Embers in my spare time. Fast forward to just a few weeks ago when, even though I was convinced that Square Enix was done with the FFVII franchise, they announced the FFVII remake at E3. So now I realize I want nothing more than to finish "Illusory Flame" and clear my conscience. However, I have decided that I will not release or rerelease any of "Illusory Flame" until I am completely finished with it. That potentially means that it still may be another few years before you see any new content. Yes it sounds a bit crazy, but that way you won't get anymore lengthy hiatuses between chapters or stories. Hell, that also means I won't leave anyone disappointed should I decided again to discontinue "Illusory Flame". Seems like a bit of a pointless update since I'm not uploading anything.
