![]() Author has written 3 stories for Steven Universe. Hello! I'm Poly, and I really enjoy writing in my free time. I also like that sweet, sweet validation so I've decided to post my writing for people to enjoy. My main inspiration comes from V.C. Andrews and George deValier, so if anyone wants to read more stuff similar to mine, I'd suggest checking out their work! Though I'm not nearly as good as them. Want to learn more about me or see my art? Check out my tumblr: You can also find me on AO3 as Polyfunctional. The Girl Next Door: It's taken me a long ass time to do this, but I am finally updating TGND! I've been working on rewriting the new chapters for some time, as many people that have been following me have known, but I decided that my resolution for this year would be to actually get some real work done on it. Because of this, I have deleted all previous chapters because they are no longer relevant. The story has changed significantly, and although I'm not done with all the chapters I have a few done that I'm going to be posting semi regularly. My life still gets in the way of my work sometimes, but I'm hoping I can find some time to work on it more. I'm sorry to anyone that really liked the older version and would have preferred if the older chapters had been saved, but I didn't think they should stay up. They were really bad in my opinion and made me cringe a little bit honestly. So they've been deleted, but I still wanted to keep all the thoughtful and lovely comments that older fans have left. I really appreciate everyone that has been continuously supporting my work and it's all those people that gave me the motivation to even continue with the story since there were a lot of times I thought about dropping the story entirely. Thanks to everyone and I hope both old and new fans like this newer version! Double Dealing: This has been recontinued! I showed this to a friend of mine just for shits and they really liked it and are pushing me to continue it, so I decided to give it another go. The first chapter will be revised, just like TGND and then I'll be posting new chapters. Late Night Thoughts A cute little one-shot I made up while I was sad! It's another human AU but it's separate from TGND. Idk?? A new Steven Universe fic I'm in the process of writing, but I have no idea what to call it yet. It's another lapidot human AU, because I'm really fond of writing these apparently. Here's the summary, which I might add onto later if I think to add anything else: Peridot has a nearly perfect life - she's the daughter of a rich CEO, she does incredibly well in school, and she has a great best friend. But her whole life is shattered when she makes a dumb, but life altering mistake. With an overly critical mother and an emotionally distant sister, Peridot feels completely alone during the most vulnerable part of her life. Her only sliver of hope is a mysterious girl she meets who is as equally lost and alone. Together, the two of them tackle life's greatest challenges and more. To everyone who is supporting my fanfictions: Thank you all, I appreciate everything you do! I love all the reviews and favs and follows and I would hug every single one of you if I could. All of you are the reason I keep writing and posting on this site. You people are awesome, thanks again! |
