Best fucking thing I ever read

This FanFiction is in my top 3 of Sherlock’s films. Very well done and the writting is truly amazing. I almost skipped over it because it didn’t have a lot of views/favorites but I read a review that stated THEY were surprised it’s doesn’t have recognition so I read it. I couldn’t agree more, I’ve read fanfics that reviews claim are amazing with great writting but this one truly is and it’s more serious and it’s drawn out super long like some other ones.

You really need to listen to the song letters from the wasteland by the wallflowers. It fits perfectly.

I'm honestly surprised this doesn't have more recognition. Everyone in the Sherlock fandom needs to read this, seriously.

I just gotta say, I love your writing style. The way you wrote Sherlock's inner thoughts and feelings were just perfect. Not many people can write a good Sherlock Holmes, but you nailed it. John was also perfect and the fact that you were able to switch between the two easily is pretty amazing.

I felt so deeply for John in the beginning. It was awful what was happening to him, and you did that to him. You hurt the poor man and I love and hate you for it. The angst was delicious.

And then, just when I thought the story couldn't get any better, it did. When Sherlock showed up. You told your readers that they could skip repeat chapters if they wanted, but I read them all. Every. Single. Chapter. Even the cabbie POV because this story was just so good, it would be a sin not to read everything.

There were moments that were horrible and made me want to punch you, like when Tammy tried to kill John. God, Tammy's a bitch. But, it was all worth while for when the fluffy parts came up. I swear, I almost squealed like a little girl at the wedding. If Johnlock ever became a Canon thing, it would probably go down like this.

This was truly perfect and I hope you continue writing amazing stories just like this!

OMG, thank you so much for making him stay. People have remarked on how I can stay calm in panicky situations, and I literally flipped out when Sherlock tried to leave. I was sitting here hyperventilating repeating "No, no, no, no, Sherlock, no. Don't Sherlock, no, no, no" and other variations of that. My boyfriend started laughing at me, the idiot. He doesn't understand. -_-

So, yeah .. that is about the best piece of writing I've read, not just for fanfiction, but including professional writers I am currently wound up in. I found myself actually sitting down for several hours to read this, beginning to end, and was not disappointed in the least! Your Sherlock chapters were so spot on, I think I am not intimidated at the idea of writing him! Great job!

I know chapter 17 was posted over a year ago, but I just wanted to say that you're doing really good with Sherlock's part. The deductions and everything is awesome. Definitely comparable to Sir Doyle. :)

Ok Birdie, I'm not to the end so I am not going to do a full review here, but I felt obligated to tell you that I read this, enthralled until 4:30 am when my internet cut out and I forced myself to get some sleep. I have never read a more accurate POV of Sherlock. If you aren't a professional writer you should consider it.

Thank you so much for the most amazing Sherlock story I have ever read. I honestly could not put my phone down. You portrayed Sherlock perfectly and the idea of having two different POV with John and Sherlock really helped the story explain its self. Again thank you.

Sleep optional. You can make me burst into tears laughing with just a few words. I could NEVER imagine them getting married and running off like this until you wrote it. Bravo you amze me once again! I'm serious about those side stories though. All of the pent up smut is killing me! Your fluff makes the relationship that much better. And the wedding Sherlock is such an arse! Forgive my brittish lingo I'm just an uncultured american. He waited till he was actually there with a pen in his hand to even ask him. But everything was sweet(and super cheesey) but all the same another great story by you one of my favorite authors.
