I'm just a crazy Canuck, currently living the dream in a small BC 'city'. (and let me tell you that ‘living the dream’ is what we say to each other at work every day, heavy on the sarcasm! LOL).

I was born in Banff, Alberta, many moons ago, in Canada for those of you who have no idea where I'm talking about:). I grew up surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains and forests of green pines and poplars. Spent most of my days in the woods or climbing mountains, sliding down waterfalls and bathing in pools we used to make at the bottom of them. Nature is its own inspiration and living a mostly wild and free life hand in hand with it quite literally set my imagination and fascination free!

I come from a very artistic family; all my brothers and sisters are talented in their own right. My father was a famous photographer, mountain guide and story teller. He was also involved in the movie business and I met a lot of actors both human and animal:) and spent time on movie sets, shivering in the cold at 4am on The Rez, waiting to film one scene, which could take ALL day! He had a very spiritual relationship with the mountains and nature in general. When he passed away, the mountains cried and I saw it with my own eyes. I also saw an eagle come out of nowhere, swoop down above the house, circle once and then disappear. I firmly believe that eagle took my father's spirit up to dwell in the mountains forever...

My mom was the most amazing woman I've ever known, with a kind and gentle soul; a hard worker, a good listener and a friend and 'mom' to everyone who entered our home. She was a stunning beauty, in looks and inside, as well. Appropriately, her name was Angeline. She played the piano and encouraged us to dance and sing, to laugh and love and be ourselves...and so, this is my background.

Myself? I'm a mom to three beautiful, courageous, strong, loving, caring, incredible young women, all out there in the big world, carving their own paths now. They amaze me every day and some of the best times of my life have been spent with my girls, usually rolling on the floor, laughing:)

I work in the hospitality industry with some of the bawdiest, rowdiest, toughest women I've ever known and I love it! Most days are spent laughing until tears run from my eyes and theirs. Who knew work could be so much fun?? LOL. I also am 'mom' to 3 rescued Pomeranians and two very weird cats and they crack me up, too:) My life is so much more than good and I have truly been blessed:). Still living in the mountains, sharing my space with wild animals, lush forests and beautiful lakes; does it get any better???

Reading. It's something I've always enjoyed; my escape, my retreat, my sanctuary .Writing. It's something I've always done; songs, poems, stories, all of them squirreled away either in my memory or in various nooks and crannies around my house. It wasn't until I found Fan Fiction and a crazy fellow writer who dared me to DOO EEEET that I actually submitted any of them. As you can all tell, I'm a HUGE fan of Longmire and right in to shipping Walt and Vic; I mean, who isn't, right??? What a joy it's been to write about these two and so much fun! I've also written an old school Star Trek story, as yet not submitted, but that could change. Now that I've found this place, the sky's the limit! I also have some original stories, but those are for later:). One day, I'd love to do nothing but write...and eventually make some money doing it. That would most definitely be living MY ultimate dream! LOL!
