Author has written 1 story for Angel, and Supernatural. Hi! I'm a college student and crossover fan. I don't have much to say about myself, but obviously you're here for some reason (maybe procrastinating? I can empathize), so I'll give you some recommendations for geeky stuff to check out outside the world of fan fiction. Movies: - Do you like punk music? How about 80s movies? You ever feel as if your mind had started to explode? Watch Repo Man (not to be confused with Repo Men). Definitely a weird film, but one of my favorites. - If you like sci-fi (especially Star Trek) and are in the mood for something hilarious, watch Galaxy Quest. Don't be scared away by Tim Allen. It's actually an awesome movie in itself as well as a great parody. - In more recent movies, if you're all right with the dumber kind of sci-fi and you liked the "Mystery Spot" episode of Supernatural, you'll probably really enjoy Edge of Tomorrow. Super fun, and it fully acknowledges how punchable Tom Cruise's face is. TV: - If you like Supernatural and Angel (I'm making assumptions about my audience here), you should check out Constantine. It might feel a little derivative, but of course the Constantine comic came first of all, and the show has become much better since its first couple of episodes. - I watch way too much TV, so I could go on, but I bet you do, too. Books: - Have you read Good Omens yet? You should. Go do it. - If you're a fan of weird urban fantasy (and not the sexy kind), try The Rook by Daniel O'Malley or Kraken by China Mieville. |
