Author has written 16 stories for Durarara!!/デュラララ!!, Naruto, Shameless, 2011, Digimon, Tokyo Ghoul/東京喰種トーキョーグール, and Yuri!!! on Ice. Newsflash: ffnet is being a little shit, so the links in my profile (temporarily?) don't work. Sorry about the hassle. My ao3 name is the same as this profile, if you're looking for me over there. The link for the fanart of my big bang is also posted in that story. My current main fandoms are Durarara!! and Tokyo Ghoul, although I do read in other fandoms. As a head's up, I'm not going to be (re-)posting some fics on this account, mainly my asoiaf fics (there's about 20 of them on my other account), and everything that is rated M or above. Regarding that last point, I really don't want to go through the hassle of trying to decide whether something fits the guidelines here or not, which is why I've decided against posting for now. (The one exception I might make is if I ever get around to writing the sequel to underneath our bones.) when you knew me like i know you was written for the Shameless Big Bang, and also has its own art, made by the amazing dooberlane :D You can find it here (sorry about the broken link) Other things I am interested in: Books, reading, looking at pictures of cats, petting cats, being hella gay, lazy afternoons, iced tea, warm tea, judo, Ian & Mickey, giggling over Madara's third eye (and his chestface of Hashirama), wondering how many superhero AUs I can get away with (and why there aren't more), writing crap, taking walks (without being in pain), stock car racing, attempting to lick people's faces, cuddles, building blanket forts, writing more crap, watching silly videos on youtube, obsessively refreshing my stats on ao3, wondering what's under Kakashi's mask, type writers, ordering my books by page number, going to the library, and maybe write something worthwhile. What I've been obsessing over lately: Durarara, Tokyo Ghoul Favourite authors include Neil Gaiman, David Mitchell, Gillian Flynn, Kate Griffin and Patrick Ness. (Though I don't tend to write for book fandoms (asoiaf being the exception) -- I feel too restricted because I find myself trying to emulate the writer's style. Besides, all the books I love are fine the way they are, for me.) If you're reading my profile, possibly by having read a story or two by me, or maybe in a different way, you might find yourself wondering about what type of story I write. I'm really trying not to take the easy way out by saying "hell if I know", but that's kind of what it boils down to. Let's get right down to it: the majority of what I write is slash. Just because it's not posted here doesn't mean I don't write it (trust me, you don't want to see my hard drive). Before anyone goes D: and perhaps may exclaim "but yaoi?!" in mock horror, may I remind you that there are tons and tons (and tons!) of canons out there with all the (not-confirmed but assumed-to-be) straight characters? As a gay person, it's nice to see some representation once in a while. And, you know, me writing slash is obviously not stopping anyone from writing straight ships, so. There's that, too. TL;DR: I write gay stuff but you don't have to read it. (But, seriously, if you click on an obviously tagged story and come complaining to me about "the gays", I'm just going to laugh.) One last thing: if I ever post something with multiple chapters, I'm going to try and do my best to have it finished before I start posting. Slowly updating WIPs are the bane of my existence, so I'm going to try and not subject more people to it. (I can't stop reading them though. God help me.) |
