UPDATE 07/12/2020

After 7 years in waiting, I have completed my Wreck-It Ralph fic, The Real World. It has crossed my mind that I should go back and finish the sequel for Normal next, which is what I will be doing. However, as you may have seen noted on Normal: The Octo Corp Chronicles, I was unhappy with how the sequel was turning out, and and have opted to rewrite the sequel. I am currently working on the reboot, and have a goal to start posting by late August to early September. Keep an eye out officially for Normal II.

About Me

Hello, and welcome fellow writers! Writing has been my favorite hobby growing up, though now I'm breaking from my shell and exploring the world of fan fiction. I have written numerous poems and short stories on my own, but now that's where you come in. See, I can't contain all my writing and imagination to myself. It's just not healthy. I'm here to grow stronger in my literature, and my hopes are that by creating stories for your entertainment that I can receive feedback on my work. I generally like writing about my OC's because it allows me creative room to create a new character and place them in an established universe. World-building can be complex work, so I like fanfiction because of this reason. Maybe someday I will get off fanfiction and write something original, but we'll see!

This profile also serves as a historical timeline of how far I've come, and changed as a writer. I keep all my stuff posted, whether it's finished or not, despite how terrible it may be or anything on those lines. I feel it's important to be able to have everything I've ever written in one place, look back, and learn from my mistakes. It's also fun to read old things anyway. My past self entertains my future self! I'd like to emphasize that although I want to pick up a few tips from fellow writers here, and try to learn and grow as a writer, my fics are mostly pure entertainment for me.

In addition I love connecting with my readers! If you have any suggestions with any of the content in my work I'd love to hear them. That, or I always enjoy the occasional fangirling.

Definition of the hundred-yard stare (100-yard stare) (please know I completely made both the word and definition up) :

An unfocused gaze into the distance, usually accompanied by a large grin, seen as a characteristic when a fangirl thinks about their OTP or favorite character.

Ex. in a sentence:

She just watched the new episode of Game of Thrones, and has had a hundred-yard stare ever since.

My Original Characters & Self-inserts

Kelda (Lightning Crashes): Kelda is a hunter in the HTTYD universe. She's around 21 years old during the start of my fic when she first meets Grimmel, which takes place many years before the movies (so she would be around 45 during the events of HTTYD 3). She is known for her modesty, and skill as a hunter/tracker of dragons, but only acts this way as a cover up for her internal anger, which she ends up blaming her mental decline on hunters in general and her guild. She actually hates being a hunter, but nobody knows! For now... In addition she also has conflicting feelings about Grimmel. They are rivals, naturally, but she also thinks he's hot. Toxic relationship, and is kinda sad, but I love angst. (Ships: Kelda x Grimmel)

Kailey (Normal & Normal II): A blatant self-insert. Normal was a self indulgence fic for me as I was head over heels for a certain large purple octopus that happened to be an evil genius. Kailey is me, name and everything. At the time of writing the first fic (2015) she was a projection of a future me that had already graduated. She is Dave's unwilling (at first!) assistant and puts up with all his bullshit. (Ships: Kailey x Dave or Dailey)

Kailey (The Real World): Yet again, not ashamed to admit it was another self indulgent self-insert fic. Was started at the time (2014) that I was also a college student and intern, and going through a lot of personal stuff, so as a result the fic had a lot of dark elements. In this fic Kailey is "The First User" (aka first person to venture into game worlds via Litwak's Arcade) which only happens because her brother is part of a team of programmers at a local university sticking their nose into things that probably shouldn't be messed with. (Ships: Turbo x Kailey, either romantically or platonicly. I actually wrote two different versions of the ending, one with a vague, seemingly platonic ending, another romantic. I ended up publishing the romantic ending due to reader requests. If you want to see the vague ending, feel free to ask!)

Steven Wheatfield (The Real World/Normal): Steven is my all-rounded OC that has the potential to make cameos or have roles in a lot of my fics. He's a programming and engineer genius, and exchange university student from Britian. His age varies on the fic, but mostly he's almost always a student in a Bachelor or Masters program.

Princess Dariane (Odds Are): She's a princess with lightning abilities from the kingdom of Farrandor. Her kingdom is an original concept by myself, and is meant to take place in the Tangled & Frozen universe. She has anger problems like her father, but is trying to be good and kind. She's constantly being courted by a wizard named Donnie, which has gotten on her nerves for the longest time. (Ships: Connall x Dariane aka the Stabbington bro that is able to speak. His brother Bastion (eye-patch/mute) is like a really awesome third-wheel).

Donnie (Odds Are): Speaking of Donnie, he is a wizard as previously stated. He's a nerd but also has the tendency to be a huge overconfident asshole. He is obsessed with Princess Dariane and wants to marry her, both because he has feelings for her, and he wants to be king. A bad guy.

Elisa (A Tale of Heat, Snow, and Frost): Elisa was a take on the same name character Elisa from the Rankin/Bass TV movie Jack Frost, and was a ROTG version of Jack Frost's possible girlfriend. I still consider her my OC because she isn't like her R/B counterpart, and I have modified her mostly to be a vastly different type of person. (Ships: Jack Frost x Elisa).
