I'm working on a Naruto and Sakura infidelity fic so far(among others). Make no mistake, I don't hate Sakura. I'm just really tired of readings so many fics where she is either a horrible or selfish person without ever having the opportunity to redeem herself. So, if you're a Sakura fan and don't like this fic, then don't read it. This fic isn't made for fluff enthusiasts, it's very serious(and some may take offence to it).

To all those who still read "For The Love of Family" and "My sister Hinata", I'm just letting you all know that I'm not abandoning those fics. I need to sort out where to really take those fics, all the while dealing with others. I will update soon, but I'm afraid that you have to be a little more pateint with me for now.

After some time, I've started working on other stories. Now, I understand that it isn't such a good idea because I have other fics to deal with. Those fics are on hold indefinitely. I will return to them when I'm sure i can continue them. I know some of you might be upset with that but what can I do, really.

Huge announcement!

Due to the overwhelming demand for the continuation of For The Love of Family and For The Love of Family - Alternative, I've decided to drop all current stories and focus on those until I've achieved adequate chapters to continue other fics. Not only that, but in a few days I'll be updating these two stories more frequently.

So, to recap, every other story that is not For The Love of Family or For The Love of Family- Alternative is on hiatus.

Now that's cleared up, there's additional news I wish to highlight to you. I know that I have a knack for taking far too long to update a story. The reason is sometimes I do experience writer's block or am focused on updating another story. That's going to change now. I'm aiming to put For The Love of Family on my complete list this year. I've surmised that it's probably going to take at least 60 long chapters to do so. Which comes the next bit of information for your benefit. The insuring chapters will be significantly longer and quite detailed. Additionally, I'm aiming to focus primarily on the Chuunin Exams in the next few updates. Trust me, I can say with certainty that it's gonna be awesome.

People that read For The Love of Family and automatically jump to conclusions before catching up to the current chapter should keep an open mind. I don't know how many times I've said this in my author's notes, yet people have little care to listen. Honestly, it frustrates me sometimes. But that is a trivial matter; it won't make me stop writing stories.

Now to clear up even more things about For The Love of Family and For The Love Family - Alternative.

For The Love of Family

This is obviously a neglect fic, but it's not the same typical one. This is aimed to be a little more realistic in terms of Naruto and his family. It isn't some, "I hate you, I love you," story like some are already accusing it to be. I won't try to justify the reason or explain myself further than that, as I feel my story should do the talking without biased or preconceived opinions. But don't worry, the updates are definitely coming.

This is a NaruHina fic. For some of you, that's a bore fest, since this fandom is already swamped with NaruHina stories. But its something I've wanted to do as an author, and I will not change my mind about Naruto's love interest. There is no harem and no incest.

This story is really different. You'll see what I mean soon.

For The Love of Family - Alternative.

This story is far more thought out. The plot is more solid and concise. The reason for that is because, unlike the original story, this story is actually derived from manuscripts I prepare in advance. I won't lie, it's meant to be better than the original story by a long shot. It is also meant to be character-driven. That means the characters are the centre of this story, especially Naruto. To reiterate from the story's summary. This is a strong and intelligent Naruto fic. Naruto won't be over powering, but he will have somewhat ridiculous robust knowledge and ability.

[Spoiler Alert. Skip paragraph if you don't want to know Naruto's potential love interest]

This story is NOT NaruHina. Nope... Wondering who Naruto might fall for? Sakura Maybe? Ino? Or maybe even Fu? They're all pretty popular, and it wouldn't hurt to try them out as romantic interests... if I hand't already decided. I'll be straight with you now, it's none of them, not even Ayame, Tayuya or Yugito. No, sir... It's Ami. Yes AMI. Yeah, you know that bully - the least used character on this site in terms of being with Naruto. It sounds stupid, right? I mean, why use someone as one-minded as her in such an already intriguing story? Well, like I said, this story is character-driven. Ami isn't going to be as one-dimensional as the anime and manga made her out to be. In fact, I specifically chose her because she's hardly in any story. Even if she is in one, it isn't for any significant reason. Well, let me tell you, she will have a huge role here. I know, right? From using the most popular girl, Hinata, to using someone the least liked, Ami. How could that possibly work out, you might be asking? You shall see.

This story will initially start off slow, as development of the characters is my main focus. But I assure you, this will probably the most epic story you'll read all year. Don't believe me? Just wait. With what I have planned, you'll see what I'm talking about pretty soon.

Oh by the way, I'm a girl. I don't know how many times people make the mistake of labelling me a dude or sir or man... Really, guys? I'm not a dude. Please get that right.

Back again. So, I noticed that I have been getting a lot of messages asking me to continue this story and that story. I want to...but can't. I had no idea my last year in college was going to be this intense. I literally have no time for myself. Even in the holidays I end up working myself to the bone because it's so important. I come from a pretty poor background, so there is a lot pressure on me to do well and make something of my life next year. This isn't a game, or excuse. I can't find it in myself to write fan fics at the moment. I'm just that distracted. So unless you guys want a half-hazarded effort with my fics, you're gonna have to wait. Please just wait for me to get my life together. If I abandoned any story, then I would say so in the summary or here. Since I haven't said anything, then every story has the potential to continue.

2019 Update: Hey, guys. Katy here. I'm still very much alive for those of you who have been asking about me. I do plan to return this year, just not now. Sorry, all, but you still have some waiting to do. Until then, there are plenty of other fics to read up on. Have a wonderful day. Peace.
