Author has written 13 stories for LXG, Terminator, and RENT. Hi! I'm Danielle. I'm known to many as Dani, and to one as DaniL. You can call me whatever the hell you want. I'm 16. Not that I really act that age. Depending on my sugar intake and/or my mood, I either act 5 or 35. I write. Obviously or I wouldn't be here. Sometimes, not that well. But if I don't think it's that great, I won't put it on here. So don't worry. Of course, what I think is good is probably total crap to someone else. Eh. I do theatre. It's my life, my passion. I'm going to move to NY either for college or after college. I'm going to try to be on Broadway. If not, I'll fall back on my plan B (which is likely going to be psychology). But until then, I'm doing theatre. I'm not going to NY to be a star. That would be cool, but I'm going to NY to do one thing: to perform shows 8 times a week until I DIE. Because I'm fucking insane. And I'm proud of it. My fandom is RENT. I am a RENThead. Unfortunately (because I live in Tenne-fucking-see) I haven't seen the show, yet. However, that will change. On November 6, I will see RENT. I have been obsessed with the show for 2 years and I am going to see it. FINALLY. Mark is my favorite character. I write usually as Maureen, my second favorite, because no one writes from Maureen's POV and I think she's a very interesting character. I try to portray her not so much as the whiney bitch most people make her out to be, but as a character with a soul. If she was such a horrible person, why would the group still be friends with her after she dumped Mark? Anyway, enough on that. I am an alto/mezzo. More of an alto, but I'm taking voice lessons and my teacher (possibly the most amazing woman I have ever met) swears up and down that I am a pure mezzo, I just have to practice. We'll see. I love Adam Pascal. Not because he's gorgeous (which he is) but because he's talented. You tend to notice someone who has talent nearly pouring out of their ears. At least, in my opinion. Anthony Rapp's the same way. Love 'em both. I practically worship Jonathan Larson. The man was a genius, and it goes to show how cruel this world is to take away such a genius and an influence on musical theatre. He was so brilliant, and never got to see his success...okay, gonna cry. Is it sad that I think that one of the sweetest love stories ever is that of Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor in The Terminator? I mean, c'mon! The man traveled across time for this woman! He risked his life just for her! I'm obsessed with that love story. Now that I've taken up valuable minutes of your life (if you actually read all of this, message me and I will send you a virtual medal. If anyone can actually sit and read through this, they deserve a medal), I guess I will end with one of my all-time favorite quotes: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOOHOO, what a ride!'" If you think that those stupid kids should just give that God-forsaken Trix rabbit some Trix, copy this into your profile. |
