Hiatus Until Summer 2017

Apologies for the long gap in updating. Real life got in the way of fandom as it often does, but in addition to that I also took a step back and had a major "way that I go about writing" re-evaluation.

Until recently, I've always had ten thousand ideas and, of those, I've always been trying to write four or five different stories simultaneously. That means even in my best of times, I'd be burning myself out by writing a chapter a week, but on an individual story basis would only still be progressing by a chapter a month. I'd get more and more frustrated that it took me FOREVER to get anywhere in a story. Hitting 50k words in any one story used to be such a huge, distant milestone for me.

Over the course of this past year, I've managed to flip my whole existing work/writing ethic on its head. I work on one story at a time now and usually crank out 50k words in two months (as opposed to the two years that it took me for Let Her Mind Wander).

Unfortunately for you guys, part of that means I've chosen to complete a couple older projects first, among them an original story that's been rattling around in my head for waaaaay longer than is probably healthy.

Fortunately for you guys, that means when I do come back to Let Her Mind Wander (which I promise I will), I'm going to be going completely gangbusters on it. If I had to approximate based on my current outlines/notes, we're about 25% of the way through the story. At the rate I was writing it, it would've taken me another six years to finish it. At the rate I write now, I think it'll take me only one. So yeah, just hang in for a bit longer and I promise I will put this story back on my plate.
