I know, I really should have done something with this long ago. Let's just blame it on laziness. And a certainty that no one was really interested.

So, here I am now. I'm Em, nice to meet ya.

I read a lot, different genres. I'm an Anne Rice fan, Janet Evanovich, Laurell K. Hamilton, Bentley Little, Clive Barker, Terry Pratchett, Anne Bishop and a multitude of Classical Authors that I won't even begin to list. All time favorites would have to be a toss up between Wuthering Heights, and the original Jean Valjean.

Movies, I'm a so-so fan. Number one slot is reserved for Boondock Saints. "I can't go get a pack of smokes without runnin into 9 guys you've F&!@" I can enjoy just about anything but gory horror (I prefer not to see insides, on the outside) and the poorly written, cheesy Jr. High fart humor that seems to pervade movie theaters lately.

Music, well.. I think manic would be the best way to describe it. I'll listen to anything. I'm a music junkie really. I probably own 6 different sets of headphones. The ability to lock myself away in my head with a song is the easiest way for me to write. Takes me to that creative place. I couldn't name a favorite band or singer, because that would be playing favorites, but my most prominent favorites would be Rock and Classical. Both separate and together. hehe

I'm currently working on writing my saga for Hector. A character from the Janet Evanovich series of Stephanie plum books. He starred in a few paragraphs of an early book, without much more then a physical description and a name. So I've given him a broader dimension and really tried to bring him off the page as a character. The story is still in progress, snapping out in bits and pieces, separately titled short sections that represent different periods of growth in his past as he relays them to people that he wants to be a part of his future. I beg that everyone check it out, I'm a whore for opinions where this story is concerned.
