Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter. Oh, hello there! Wanna read a mistaken identity romance starring post-war Draco and Hermione? Wanna read about a looming menace which puts our protagonists in danger, forcing Draco to dig deep and face his greatest pain? Then Faceless might be the story for you! There's no Ron-bashing, Hagrid has actual screen time, and, most importantly: it's complete ;-) Enjoy! Lots of love Phinoa Tumblr: ph1n0a (I'm no longer active, but you'll find covers and aesthetics) Harry Potter does not belong to me. You know very well who has written the books. But you know what? Trans rights are human rights. We may enjoy a story even if we have little to no regard for the author. The Harry Potter books have gained agency on their own and I refuse to have them or the fandom spoiled by an author who, over the past decade or so, has repeatedly shown that they have little respect for their readership, to put it mildly. JKR may have created that world, but she does not get to dictate how we experience it. It seems that my note above has prompted some hate mail (through anonymous guest reviews on Faceless). I will keep deleting comments like that as hate speech has no place here but consider this my reaction. Your reviews don't bother me. First, I feel not at all insulted by someone insinuating that I am trans. Why would I? Second, throwing alleged "facts" at me without providing any kind of source is fruitless and it's not going to change my mind. JKR is abusing and weaponising her platform to spread hate, which is why, as a writer of HP fanfiction, I see it as my responsibility to position myself in this "debate" – as if trans lives were up to debate. This entire sh*tshow basically boils down to white, rich, cishet women projecting their (reasonable) fear of cis men onto trans folks, an already marginalised and disenfranchised group, who simply want to live their life in peace. I'm familiar with TERF rhetoric and if you're using it just because a random person on the internet (me) is positioning themself against transmisia in general and JKR in particular, you are wasting your time. Please educate yourself instead. Listen to actual trans people's experiences before you press send. I hope you'll realise someday that kicking those who are already down is no feat of valour. Punch up instead. Smash the patriarchy. Defund the police. Tax the rich. That's it. That's my reply to past and future hate mail.
