What better way to improve in something than practice, eh?

I wrote constantly as a kid, but fell out of the habit as I got older. I faced a serious illness several years ago and found refuge in my daydreams. The stories kept swirling in my mind without escape until I just had to get them out; by then I was so out of practice I found it difficult to get it all out like I wanted. I am trying to get back into writing, and I appreciate any and all feedback. I want to get better - to make the words fit the images in my head. Unfortunately, the side effects of my treatments occasionally spring back up, and I find it hard to find the right words. I am muscling through it as best I can. Sometimes it may lead to a delay in posting, other times it may cause me to stick words in that aren't quite right. If that is the case, I appreciate any assistance. Just let me know, and I will fix it.

I am sticking to Mass Effect fics right now since I feel so at home with the characters.
