Poll: Shepard is long dead by the time Onwards takes place. But which gender were they? (The result has no bearing on "I Should Go", just "Onwards"). Vote Now!

Author has written 3 stories for Mass Effect. Hello, call me Nevery, as it suggests above. I'm not very good a constructing these sorts of things, so it's going to be very simple. I like writing and I do it a lot, and sometimes I write about things that don't belong to me. "Mass Effect: Galactic Front" is essentially dead. I don't foresee ever returning to it, but I will leave it up for the forseeable future. "I Should Go", is a collection of short monologues from the perspective of Shepard's crew and close companions, post the victory of the Allied forced in the Reaper War. Much of the background details are ambiguous, or not touched upon, for the reader's benefit. You're all free to decide: whether this is a male or female Shepard, whether they chose Destroy, Control, or Synthesis, or whether there are romantic links between them and any of the characters. Project your very own Shepards into the dialogues, and please enjoy! And then review. Because that's nice. "Mass Effect: Onwards", emerged from the back of I Should Go. It exists as both a companion and a sequel piece, and is written (for now) in a similar style, with various characters being explored in short-form chapters. It is set in the years following the events of Mass Effect 3, and exists within the same loose canon as I Should Go. I have plans for it to expand, but it will probably keep up a somewhat scattered style, as that's easier for me at the moment. All of my work has a spotty record when it comes to updates. In all honesty my enthusiasm for what I'm writing comes and goes. At the moment, I'm determined to get further with I Should Go, and will hopefully be updating it into next year. We'll see. |
