I couldn't help but wonder what Elijah's reaction the events in the season finale would be. So I decided to write how I think it will go. Warning, spoilers for the finale. If you haven't watched and don't want to be spoiled, don't read. Elena/Elijah.

Post Season 3 Finale; The Five Times Elena Saves Elijah from Floozies, and the One Time She Doesn't. Elena/Elijah.

Takes place at some unprecedented time in between All My Children and the finale. Elena, frustrated and only wanting to forget it all, runs without any idea where to go and finds herself in the Mikaelson's driveway. Rated M for some mature content. One shot.

Elena sleeps with Elijah, Kol sleeps with Meridith, Klaus sleeps with Caroline and Tyler sleeps with Rebekah. What happens when they wake up and they all meet each other in the bathroom? One shot

Elijah trained Elena on Originals' blood, and now she hungers for him more than humans. Set sometime after 3x22.

During 3x22. Elena questions Elijah about the letter he left her.

Or maybe it is? Caroline finds herself on a roadtrip with Klaus. How the hell did that happen? Well, at least this gives her time to fix him properly.

In the hospital parking lot, Elena meets a different Original, and Elijah arrives later than expected. AU 3.14.

When Elena shows up on Damon's doorstep dressed like Katherine, he sees right through her curls and smirks but decides to play along. What's her game? How far will she go to keep the illusion alive?

Kol always does what ever he wants but this time he messes with a wrong person. Dealing with consequences isn't so much fun.

Kol and Stefan both seem to have disappeared, the boarding house has been trashed and all the alcohol is gone. This is not a good day for Damon. He, Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah have to try and work out what has happened to their respective brothers, while a very drunk Kol and Stefan are wandering freely around Mystic Falls.

Later, much later, after his blood comes back under his control, Elijah will admit to himself, however uncharacteristic such an admittance is, that this was not at all how he had expected his night to go.

My interpretation of when Elena read John's letter.

AU after "All My Children". Elijah has been gone for a while when Elena suddenly turns up on his doorstep as a vampire. She needs him to help her come to grips with that and he needs to keep silent his feelings for her while he does so. Elejah.

Submission for a vd kink prompt: Elena has to pose as Katherine for whatever reason . Elijah, however, quickly figures out she's not Katherine and decides to see how far she'll go with the act.

Kol does something stupid, even by his standards and manages to get himself bitten by a hybrid. The bite won't kill him, but his long-suffering siblings will have to take care of him throughout his painful recovery.

Elena/Elijah "We do need to get a move on, if we want to sneak away." He placed one hand on her hip while the other moved down the side of her dress. He had her up in his arms before she could reconsider her request. He was seizing the moment, as was she.
