![]() Author has written 2 stories for Naruto. Hey Everyone! Welcome to the humble abode of the Musing Raydius. Stories in Progress: Unnamed Story (as of now). First chapter is basically done. I'll need at least until chapter 3 to kind of see where I'm taking the story. Stories on Hold: Return from the Shadows Completed Stories: A Winter's Promise: Complete! Some Quick Facts: Name: Musing Raydius Real name: ...ahem. Privacy please :P Age: A number Gender: Male Likes: Friends, family, females (three f's xD), reading, writing, tennis, videogames, and other non-academic/academic things. Dislikes: Great ideas that just aren't taken advantage of. Trust me when I say this: good prose with a bad idea is much more acceptable than a great idea with horrible prose. Hobbies: An extension of my likes basically: videogames, writing, etc. Dreams: To do something I love to do and influence/inspire at least one stranger to do the same. Also, I want to be in space at least once before I die! Why start writing?: Well, once you start reading a lot of stories from published works and unpublished works (like FF and FP), you start to collect stories in your mind that just won't go away. Many stories I've read have influenced me to do so, and I thought it would be nice to delve into the world of ink and paper. Now, I think I should start writing and posting online. Why? Cause I hope to elicit the same feelings of inspiration that I got from all the great authors in this world. Fictionpress? Original Works?: Yes indeed. But, I'm focusing here on FF starting now. If you want, you can check out what experimental works I have on my Fictionpress account. Same username, Musing Raydius. You don't seem to read a lot on here...: My favorite's for authors and stories is very slim. No question on that. But, I generally only favorite what I think is revolutionary, stylistic, amazing, basically top-notch. Don't get me wrong, I've still read many fics and enjoyed them, but the few that I've took the time to appreciate are the ones that have impacted me on more than just a "pleasure" level. Of course, they're just my preference, and that change over time... Introductions: I came across FictionPress and FanFiction quite some time ago, and I'll say I've enjoyed countless stories made by some of the greatest writers ever. Up until now, I kind of felt a bit off just starting an account, probably due to time and other pressing issues (like school), but I finally decided to join the wonderful community and hopefully submit many stories. As for release dates and stuff, I may put some solid dates for reference, but it will never be accurate. I'll have major time delays sometimes or maybe I'll have surprises where I'll post early. That being said, I usually like to at least have a rough draft of stories before I go and publish chapters, mostly because publishing one chapter and then having to produce another without reference will usually end up with me revamping the whole story later on... which is tedious and annoying to both me and the readers out there. As for writing, I don't really have a specific genre or style for it, I usually take any idea that I believe is worth making something out of and weaving words together to express it, but generally I'll take to stories (maybe poetry, but I am quite unfamiliar with it) and bounce around from romance to adventure, and maybe even mystery and loosely-related allusions to my own life. I try to write in pretty common English, but I won't hesitate to use words that just fit in with what I'm trying to say. I'd like to say something in terms of reviews (which I hope people will make). Praise for my work is fine, praise with suggestions for improvement is delectable, a hate comment with suggestions for improvement is helpful, and a hateful comment is both useless to me and wastes time for everyone. In other words, praise keeps me motivated, while constructive criticism helps me improve and make my writing more enjoyable to others. Now moving on to story content, I usually like plots that require a lot of mental development of characters, as in long paragraphs chiefly concerned with personal thoughts and judgments to get a better sense of connection with the reader and the story. I will deviate from this though if I develop a more dialogue based interaction, but I'll try to keep the personal factor within it. So, hope you all enjoy your time here, message me about anything (doesn't have to be about my stories) and I'll respond ASAP, be it writing advice or just to talk. If you read all of this, good job. Give yourself a pat on the back. But honestly thank you for taking the time to view what I have to say and I look forward to bringing quality content! Stories: Return from the Shadows: The Mangekyo Sharingan referenced in Return from the Shadows: http:///ajm6jc3 Mabui (Just picture a shinobi outfit!): http:///tumblr_m80ndze3Ve1r12d1bo1_500.png Ideals: Well, It's about time I shift my focus a bit away from Fictionpress to here. So I'll start by laying out generally what I'm going to post. Naruto! 1. I'm a huge Naruto fan, so that will be mainly what I'm going to write about. Also, on top of that, I like to have Naruto as the main character or lead supporting character most of the time. I might digress once and a while though. 2. I really like the world Kishimoto has already created, but I can change things up a bit with crossovers or differet settings. 3. I really like romance, adventure, sci-fi, psychological thriller (maybe as a secondary genre), humor, and mystery. 4. I like to spell check as well as grammar check. So don't worry about that. 5. I'm open to any pairings really, as long as the story allows for them. I do seem to like the idea of Fem.Kurama though :P. Other Topics (In animes, movies, books, etc.) For now, the only other topics I might dive into are: Elfen Lied, Psycho-Pass, Naruto, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, 5 cm per second, Black Lagoon, Akame ga Kiru!, Gunnm, and maybe some game related stuff. Until the next profile update... |
