Mina is really a penname. I read Dracula too much, and decided to take the name of one of the damsels-in-distress (though, to be fair, she's not a poor character). Finally started college! So far, so good. My vitals are still evident, so that's a good sign. (We'll see how long it lasts)

Right now I'm mainly focusing on my story, Been Too Long, because I feel like I owe it to my childish self to get this done. I've also been buying ye olde Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes from WalMart: they've started selling them!! My other story, Blinded By Fate, I will try to work on more, but I feel as if some changes need to be made. Fair warning!

Here's a bit about me:

I was mainly raised with three things: television, books, and imagination. Of course I went to school somewhere in between. Anyway, I mostly watched cartoons and when I was about 7 I moved on to anime and it stuck with me. I love the design technique they use (pointy chins and big eyes make all the difference!). I’m a HUUUGE MAJOR fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! I have the same birthday as Seto Kaiba!! I love both the original Yu-Gi-Oh and the abridged! LittleKuriboh is just too funny! When I'm laughing at his references, I feel like such a dork...even my parents call me a dork. I'm also way into InuYasha and Kingdom Hearts. Besides anime, I’m a comic-geek! Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and Iron Man are my favorites and no movie does them justice like the comic books, but they’re alright. I get up at 8 every Saturday morning so I can watch Justice League. I love everything Tim Burton. My favorite movies of his are Edward Scissorhands, The Silence of the Lambs, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. I love all kinds of music, Avril Lavigne and MCR for party tunes (or school mornings to perk me up), Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Katy Perry (who also has the same birthday as I do! Awesome!), and a ton of others. I'm mostly a pop/hard rock kind of girl, but I like all kinds of music.
