Author has written 11 stories for Higurashi/Umineko series, Vocaloid, Misc. Books, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Welcome to my corner of the internet! I write stories for Vocaloid, When They Cry, and maybe I'll expand onto other fandoms soon. I can't promise I'll update regularly, but I can promise my updates will be as quality as possible. My work isn't fantastic - it may be cliche at times, maybe a bit unrealistic... But it's still mine. And what's the fun in being totally realistic anyway? I have a zero tolerance policy for useless, abusive reviews. I moderate guest reviews, so say something helpful! ;P I will accept feedback, constructive criticism. I will not accept pointless reviews that make me feel guilty for "letting your expectations down", reviews that point out a list of flaws UNLESS you tell me how to better myself in some way. I am an experienced writer, and won't take kindly to someone attacking my stories just because they don't like the direction it's going. There are hundreds of other fics out there - go read one of those if mine isn't to your liking. Now that that's out of the way. Let's get some questions answered so you know more about me! 1. What are your nicknames? What do you prefer to be called? I don't really have a preference for nicknames. My sister calls me "Em" which is annoying. But I love it when my boyfriend calls me "boo" or anything cute like that. 2. What books on your shelf are begging to be read? Assassination Classroom manga. I reaaaally want to start reading 'em, but I dunno... I just keep getting distracted by writing and games. 3. How often do you doodle? What do your doodles look like? I don't draw often. They look like crap. 4. What do you do if you can’t sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and Turn? Try to get up and do something productive? I usually stay up until I can't keep my eyes open. 5. How many days could you last in solitary confinement? How would you do it? Oh my god. I would crack on the first day. I wouldn't be able to do it. 6. Do you save old greeting cards and letters? Throw them away? Trash 'em. 7. Who is the biggest pack rat you know? My sister. Good lord. She NEVER throws anything away from her room; she bags it all up and lets it lie there. 8. When making an entrance in to a party, do you make your presence known? Do you slip in and look for someone you know? Do you sneak in quietly and find a safe spot to roost? LOL what even are parties? I'd look for someone I know. 9. What is your strongest sense? If you had to give one up, which would it be? Definitely hearing, that's my strongest. When trains/metros go past, the noise hurts my ears. If I had to give up a sense though, it'd probably be smell. Strong smells put me off food all too much, even if the food looks delicious. 10. How many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror? Hardly ever. 11. What is the strangest thing you believed as a child? That ghosts in the middle of the night were coming to get me. 12. What is one guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up? Don't shoot me, please. I play Club Penguin Rewritten sometimes. AAAAA 13. Who performs the most random acts of kindness out of everyone you know? My boyfriend, honestly. Even if he thinks he isn't doing something sweet, I always love it when he says all these cute little things to me out of nowhere. 14. How often do you read the newspaper? Which paper? Which sections? Never. 15. Which animals scare you most? Why? I don't get scared of animals. Bugs, on the other hand... 16. Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on? I'd love to say "avoid conflict" but that's a big lie. I WANT to avoid conflict but I can't restrain myself from engaging it head-on. 17. What was the most recent compliment you’ve received and savoured? I don't get compliments a lot. So this one from last year really means a lot to me. My boyfriend had the most ADORABLE reaction when I sent him a picture of myself in my new prom dress. I kid you not, he was all like, "OMG you're so beautiful!" I took it to heart because I honestly don't look all that great. I felt like everyone was way out of my league, they were dressed so much nicer. But he made me feel so confident on the night of my prom. 18. What is something about yourself that you hope will change, but probably never will? My tendency to freak out and worry when friends don't respond to my texts. 19. Are you a creature of habit? Explain. I don't think so. 20. Are you high maintenance? Explain. Again, not sure. 21. When was the last time you really pushed yourself to your physical limits? I have a terrible fear of speaking in public. But the last time I pushed myself was a couple years ago, to perform in front of hundreds of students for a school music show. Twice. 22. Do you have a whole lot of acquaintances or just a few very close friends? Why? Just a few close friends. I don't click with a lot of people - they tend to move on after a week or so of meeting me. I have just five close friends and my boyfriend. Good enough for me. 23. Are you more inclined to “build your own empire” or unleash the potential of others? I'd like to unleash the potential of others. 24. What’s a strange occurrence you’ve experienced but have never (or rarely) shared with anyone? Oh, this is a fun one. I don't have a lot, so it's easy for me to pick. When I was about 9/10 years old, my school friends and I always talked about how the old, unused swimming pool at our school was supposedly haunted. The swimming pool was like a medium-sized building standing out on one of the fields, I think it was that way from the past, but it had been closed and boarded up for quite some time, so there's no way anyone could have been inside. So, I took it upon myself to go investigate, of course. I went towards it by myself, and there was for sure no other children around. I held my ear up to where the door was and tried to listen. It took a little while, but that's when I heard it. There was the voice of a scared little boy, screaming and crying for help inside of the swimming pool. There was a swimming instructor (can't remember if it was a man or woman) and they were trying to help. It was honestly really upsetting to hear. Once I told my dad about it a few years later, he told me that in the past, a little boy had drowned inside of that pool, which is part of the reason it was shut down. 25. What do you think about more than anything else? Cute scenarios with two of my original characters. 26. What’s something that amazes you? Not a lot, to be honest. 27. Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words? Why? Temper their words. Why? Because I'm a wimp, straight up. 28. Where’s your favourite place to take an out-of-town guest? My hometown sucks, so. 29. What’s one thing you’d rather pay someone to do than do yourself? Why? Go to college for me and get my qualifications under my name. I hate how we're forced to choose education up until we're like 20, when I'd rather be out there doing what I love to do, travelling and stuff. 30. Do you have a catchphrase? Not really. 31. What’s your reaction towards people who are outspoken about their beliefs? What conditions cause you to dislike or, conversely, enjoy talking with them? I don't mind if they talk about their beliefs, as long as they don't try to shove 'em onto me. 32. How and where do you prefer to study? I don't prefer to study at all. But I suppose my bedroom is good enough. 33. What position do you sleep in? On my right side. It's comfortable. 34. What’s your all-time favourite town or city? Why? York City Centre (in England) is pretty nice. Leeds is a dump though. 35. What are the top three qualities that draw you to someone new? Their ability to make me laugh; their savage yet controlled words; something unique about them, like a talent, maybe. 36. How has your birth order/characteristics of siblings affected you? My older sister always blames me for absolutely everything, so there's that. 37. If you could eliminate one weakness or limitation in your life, what would it be? My dependent nature towards friends/lovers. 38. If you could restore one broken relationship, which would it be? My old best friend, a girl named Kat who I knew for five years. It ended on poor terms, which was ultimately my fault now that I reflect on it. But I suppose we both grew into different people as time went on, and I understand if she doesn't want to know me anymore. 39. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? I guess my name is pretty much "Elli" online, when it comes to YouTube, FanFiction, etc. So it would be that. 40. Do you believe ignorance is bliss? Why or why not? Eh... Sometimes. The truth can hurt, and being ignorant to it can make you happier. But if you're left without knowing the truth and ignore it, it can start to eat away at you. 41. What do you consider unforgivable? Not a lot. But cheating in a relationship would be my breaking point. If you don't love your partner anymore, just fucking tell them, seriously. It'll be painful for the both of you, but it's better to leave them and be happy with someone else, rather than staying unhappy and drifting apart slowly. 42. Have you forgiven yourself for past personal failures? Why or why not? I've tried to. 43. How difficult is it for you to forgive someone who refuses to apologize? God, it's the absolute hardest thing to do. But sometimes, people don't have that awareness and though they want to say sorry, they don't want to dwell on it. If I know the person well enough, and they have this problem, I'm understanding and supportive of their mistakes, since they've been supportive of me. you hold any convictions that you would be willing to die for? Eh, not really. 45. To what extent do you trust people? Explain. With close friends, I'd probably trust them with my life. They mean a lot to me, as my friends circle have been in my life for 2-3 years, and they've proven time and time again that they're there for me, despite how difficult I can be at times. They've never given up on me, so I'll never give up on them. When it comes to new people, I sometimes trust them way too much, because I'm too nice to just ignore them or shut them out if they want to give me a chance. 46. In what area of your life are you immature? Everywhere. 47. What was the best news you ever received? That I was opening a bank account and I could start to earn money for games. 48. How difficult is it for you to be honest, even when your words may be hurtful or unpopular? It's incredibly difficult, but I do it anyway. 49. When did you immediately click with someone you just met? Why? What was the long term result? Conversely, are you close with anyone now that you really disliked at first? I clicked immediately with my boyfriend when I first spoke to him, when he was just a stranger at the time, pretty much. He was so kind to me, offering me support when I mentioned I wasn't feeling great. It was incredibly sweet because no one had ever cared about me like that before. He asked every few days how I was feeling, how my day was going, all that stuff. It was the best. We met in 2013/2014, and to this day, he's still the most sweetest cutie pie ever. And yes, I'm now very close with someone who I admittedly thought was extremely annoying at the time. I feel so bad even saying that about her, but I just wasn't used to the type of hyper behaviour. However, I grew to see her as a friend when I realised she could be supportive and incredibly sweet. And I love her very much to this day. 50. When do you find yourself singing? All the time. *cough*check my YouTube channel*cough* |
