Who am I? Hmmm, where to begin. Just your ordinary middle aged person who dabbles in writing, fan fiction and original Fantasy. been a fan (pun intended) of for quite some time and over the last six months been inspired to actually, you know, FINISH one or two of the many stories I have rattling around in my headspace and be brave enough to show them to the rest of the universe to read.

Being an English Literature Major, I have few *teeny*tiny*itsybitsy*minuscule pet peeves.

1: I am a Grammar Nazi. if you read Queen of Wands or the sequel Punch and Pie you know exactly what I mean. Nothing turns me off an otherwise solid plot or characterization than the inability to distinguish between To, Too and Two. The entire meaning of a passage is lost when you confuse Lose and Loose. Do NOT get me started on They're, There and Their. I am married to a sailor. I know how to curse.

2: Spell check. Use it. It is your friend. To a point. Minuet is a music composition. Minute is a measure of time. Swap the two and it makes for painful reading especially when it is consistently repeated.

3: L33t/Text speak. Great for the iPhone. NOT great for a message board, email or fanfiction website. just sayin'.

4: if you are gonna screw with canon at least be realistic and/or consistent. Hell even if you don't create AUs and indulge your own fantasies about who should be sleeping with whom at least try and be faithful to the original, okay?

5: if you are not going to be able to get back and post updates for a while please be nice and let the rest of us know. Nothing is more disappointing than logging on every day in eager anticipation of an update to a current favorite and getting squat. Same goes if you abandon a story. Tankies.

6: Be polite and non judgmental in reviews. Nobody cares that you want the storyline to go a certain direction. it is not yours, it is the author's and they can go in any direction they like. And don't be too effusive in your praise either. Nobody, not even Billy Shakes himself, wrote a perfect passage every.single.time. they put finger to keyboard. we really do wanna know when we are losing your interest.

I write mainly for Hardy Boys( ND free zone, thankyewverymuch), Stargate SG1( the original and best) and SWAT( the TV show not the movie)

I whump. a LOT. Joe, Daniel and Luca are my prime targets. I am not above angsty bits either. I am mean that way.

If I Ran the World Joe and Daniel would have found twoo wuv in completely different partners than what they got. And since I DO Run the World ( at least in my own imagination) I am exploring that in upcoming stories. No Vanessa or Vala to be found. LOVE Claudia Black. loved Aeryn Sun. HATED Vala.

my goal is to post a story only once completed. Betas are gratefully accepted to aid in the flow of a story and to point out spelling/grammar errors as well as offer suggestions. Just don't be insulted or get your big girl panties in a twist if I reject an idea for not jiving with my intent. Nor do I care if you don't like pairings or even the plot line. There are a zillion other writers who will meet your expectations.
