I'm 29, a modern history fanatic (favorite war--I know, sounds crazy but I'm always asked that once people hear I'm a history minor--the Great War/WWI), and a huge Beatles fanatic. (Y'know like John, Paul, George, & Ringo?) I could probably rattle off any trivial fact about them and their music, but I'll restrain myself from boring y'all too much with it. Hence my nickname, Beatle Chic.

Anyway, my all-time favorite story (well really series) is Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I also enjoy J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit as well as Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice and Megan Crane's English as a Second Language and Everyone Else's Girl and Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series . . . just to name a few favorite books.

TV shows that I adore and wish I had more time to watch, whether they're syndicated repeats or shows that are still in the running - That 70s Show, The O.C., Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, The Cosby Show, Who's Line Is It Anyway, What Not to Wear (Trinny & Susannah on BBC America version), Law & Order SVU, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Family Guy, The Office, as well as most shows on the History Channel and on Nick at Nite.

I'd list movies, but there's too many; I usually like most, beit old or new.

Music I'm really into right now is classic rock. Y'know. . .the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AD/DC. . .stuff from the 60s, 70s, & 80s & 90s. Okay, I'll listen to just about anything. Classic, old school, new. . .whatever. Bands I enjoy are: the Beatles, Aerosmith, Sugar Ray, Weezer, Collective Soul, Coldplay, the Police, OK Go . . . just to name some.

I am a member of A Tangled Web Forum ( http:///index.php ) which is where I usually hang out and discuss all things L.M. Montgomery; FanForum - That 70s Show (http:///f27/) where I hang out sometimes; and FanForum - Couples -Jackie/Hyde T7S (the J/H thread at the couples forum) (http:///f88/) where I usually hang out and discuss one of my favorite all-time couples. My first story on called, Modern Day Romance, is loosely based on Anne of the Island, and I have a couple more stories in the idea stages; one being a sequel / follow up to MDR and another being a "That 70s Show" fic about Hyde & Jackie entitled, Two Wrongs & a Right. So, who knows? Maybe something new will appear in time.

FYI -- Anne's taking a break for now; I'll probably return to it after TW&aR. Although I did post a one-shot, What Every Parent Fears. . .something I wrote in the spring of 2006 as a chapter for the above mentioned forum's group story about how Gilbert Blythe remembered and dealt with Jem's disappearances. 3/27/08 - My latest story! It's a Edward/Bella one-shot entitled, Full Moon. It's about one moonlit night they shared; pure fluff. (Makes reference to Anne/Gilbert.) Just something that came to me one day.

So that's pretty much me in a nutshell. (Or is this me in a nutshell--Help! I'm stuck inside a nutshell! How did I get inside this thing!) ;)
