"Nice to see you, again." and all that jazz. Life too a crazy turn in 2018 that I'm still processing it, honestly. I left a toxic marriage, became a single mom, and had to figure out who I was coming out of that mess. The positives are that I am so much happier and fulfilled now even though I feel like I hardly know what I'm doing at times. I have the best family, friends, and community a girl could ever ask for. I'm back in school and kicking some major ass and finding my passion and joy again. That includes indulging in some creative writing! I have had this next chapter ready for awhile, but because there are so many themes that related to my personal life, it was hard to really dig deep into it. I can't say I'm 100% happy with it, but I feel like it's time to publish and move on so I can finish what I started. I hope you guys enjoy it. I hope to have it posted before Friday of this week. Cheers! Well, F my life. It's been a year. Hi! How are all you doing? Life kind of sucked there for a while and wording was hard as a result. So I've bought a new house, sold my other one, slowly have been trying to get out of the rental business, had to deal with some kid medical issues, relationship stress, and now a company book that went viral. I just want to note that you guys are amazing for putting up with it and thank you for sending me notes of encouragement. Every time I got one I wrote a little bit more. So yeah, you all made the next chapter happen. It's not perfect but I think it's okay to admit there are times when you just have to move along. So my goal for 2017 is to write more. I hope this happens. Good/bad doesn't matter. The chapter is with the beta. Hoping for Tuesday release. |
