![]() Author has written 16 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Arrow, and Jessica Jones. Updated on March 15, 2017 Some of the things in the Percy Jackson fandom that annoys me: 1.) Most canon pairings as of the end of "Heroes of Olympus". Sadly this means a lot of stories could be good but certain relationships just cause the story to suffer as a whole due to personal feelings. 2.) Freeverse writings. Just do not see the appeal in writing in a way that's hard to understand when there is always a message or cliche that simply isn't worth the time it takes to read through the gibberish. 3.) All these "Mark of Athena" my way, especially if you put that in the summary. Come on, try being original when throwing out the ideas, please. 4.) Massively changing a character's personality without reasonable cause. Like Percy turning completely evil when Annabeth cheats on him and he goes to become a god. Honestly, that's three strikes there. Some things I'd like to see: 1.) A Percy Jackson crossover dealing with American Gods. I love how Neil Gaiman wrote Mr. Wednesday, and it's surprising how many things he'd fit into, being a major god and all. 2.) Jason and Clarisse. I have numerous reasons to like this unheard of pairing, and I hope to make it heard. 3.) Peter Pan meeting Artemis; read perhaps one fic with the two of them, would love to see another. Special thanks to 'little red cardigan' for writing "What the Water Gave Me", a Percy Jackson AU set in Panem. I highly recommend it as the best Hunger Games/Percy Jackson fic that I've ever read. Thank you everyone who has been reviewing and/or following me, I shall try to update more regularly. Also, to anyone who might be still be interested, would it be a good move to start a transition to Archive of Our Own? Thinking about posting some stories there, see if I can get more views. |
