When did I sign up to ?

I signed up on when I was thirteen, my original pen name was something like SierraZanimalini14 and then Quillink14. Now it's JustAGoose-Feather Quill.

I joined the site originally for fun and I've since found FanFiction.net to be a great start to begin publishing my writings. It's been a good step-on experience towards getting to the 'big gun' publishers.

My preferred genres:

I generally enjoy reading adventure based novels; I do like a good romance- Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice is on the list and a more recent one by Francine Rivers, Redeeming Love. I'll love any book with a good plot and deeply-thought through character will be worth the read.

I never buy books unless I've borrowed them from a library more than once. The only series I've ever bought: Cornelia Funke's Inkheart trilogy and Elyne Mitchell's The Silver Brumby books.

Small snippets about me:

I am more of a 'dogs-than-cats' person -and horses all over! I think turtles and hummingbirds and ducks are cute. My idea of fun outdoors is along the lines of white-water rafting (though I've yet to try it), mountain bike-riding or horse-trail riding. A relaxing day for me would be reading while soaking in the sun by the beach or watching movies all day.

Deepest fears: alone and stranded in space far from Earth, or alone in the deep blue sea with a mega-shark circling me.

Less-deep fears: giant spiders (the bird-eating sort), surprise-by-crocodile (and for the non-Aussies) drop bears at night.

Dream home: mountainous property with a couple of horses and dogs, and a few other farm animals- and a small lake for ducks!

I'd be missing a huge chunk of myself if I failed to mention I follow after Jesus. He has saved me in more ways than one from myself and I truly cannot imagine my life as good and happy without what He's done for me. I know every 'cliche Christian' is expected to use this phrase, but for those who need to hear it: God truly loves you above and beyond what you can understand. He changes lives- He changed mine from a little insecure, nervous wreck who believed she had no worth to what I am now: confident, loved and whole in my heart. All the good things I have, are all accredited to my Father.
