Hey guys! I'm Rinna aka the Resident Asian! The reason why I'm known as the Resident Asian is because in the town that I live in, I'm one of only a handful of Asians (ironically all Filipino like me) that live here. Since I've started high school, I've been known as the "Asian" and thus, I created the Resident Asian!

I've been writing ever since 3rd grade. I started to write fan fiction in 4th grade... yeah, what does a 10 year old write about? DIGIMON. I said it right. DIGIMON. (My first legit story was about a group of kids who wanted to heal a butterfly. Seriously, can you do that?)

Of course, I moved on and now I like different kinds of anime, but I stopped writing fan fiction for a really long time when I loved Naruto. After that, I wrote my own stories and then came back to writing fan fiction for Fullmetal Alchemist. Now I'm in a mix between writing for FMA and myself. Mostly it's FMA.

As of Jun 3, 2014, I am a junior in college pursuing a degree in Nursing. Some may wonder how the hell am I able to write fanfictions, be an active tumblr user and so forth with nursing and the truth is... I don't know. People who have followed me have seen that I queue a lot on tumblr and that I have been VERY inactive in writing fanfiction.

What I'm working on:

Long story short - I decided that I'm going to rewrite Family Ties Family Lies. I know that it has been about 3 years since I've written the story and stopped abruptly, but after rereading the first three chapters (I loss the other parts of the fic), I decided that the story was worth being published on FFN, and worth being finished. With that said, I may also end up getting serious writers' block and stop writing FTFL all together. However, I may also be publishing the chapters on my tumblr account (see above).

As of today (Jun 3, 2014) Family Ties, Family Lies is going under a complete reconstruction with the first three chapters being similar (same characters, same location, same plot line), but with a different take. I realized that Aya and Rinna (lol, that's my name) both revealed way too much and knew too much about Amestris. They were very Mary Sue and I wish to change that.

Sorry to say this guys, but the majority of my work will have the Roy Mustang x Riza Hawkeye pairing and most of my favorite stories have that pairing. Yeah... I'm a huge Royai shipper.

(One of these days, I will write AlMei, EdWin, HavocCatalina, RossBrosh because those couples are awesome too and need more love.)
