Hello all! I'm not going to give my real name as I prefer Bam, my nickname. I'm 20, from London and love most forms of Sci-Fi and Fantasy: Harry Potter, Stargate (SG1 and Atlantis) and Supernatural are a particular obsession, ones which I'm not eager to lose, despite the encouragement. Likewise, Glee and Criminal Minds have special places with my obsessive self. I also have a fondness for Twilight and Charmed and several others (Vampires, Werewolves, Demons and Magic - gotta love it). It makes for good fandom, but they don't quite have the same degree of utter nangness the aforementioned books/TV shows do for me. Let's see...I'm at University in Colchester, studying Film and Literature and it is probably clear, I'm fascinated with Lore, Legend, Mythology and Magic. I have been reading Fan Fiction for 3 or 4 years now and have thought about writing for a while but just haven't. I like a bit of everything but not mass amounts of angst, I'm a rather calm person and live in my own head most of the time. I love escaping to other places, its why fantasy and sci-fi are my genres: wonder, intrigue, adventure and excitement are highly attractive to me. Sometimes you need other things however, so a little bit of everything does me well. But I'm easily bored, there is time to kill and I have no money so writing about the things I love and enjoy seems like a good idea. Its entertainment and creative - suits me perfectly.

I'm a nerd because I like to read. (And damn proud).

93 percent of American teens would have a severe emotional breakdown if someone called them a freak. Are you part of the 7 percent who would ask the person, "What was your first clue?" (I'm British, but the sentiment is there).

There's nothing wrong with arguing with yourself. It's when you argue with yourself and LOSE when it's weird. What do ya think? (Its self-reflection, I talk to myself a lot so it has been known to happen. Weird? *shrugs*).

If a word was spelled incorrectly in a dictionary how would we know? (I wouldn't, my spelling is horrific, I rely heavily on spell check).

If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?

Don't you think cats are utterly awesome and creepy? Scary but lovable, psychotic genii.

Do you miss Fred Weasley? (SO MUCH! The twins are awesome. They're pranksters and twins; I have an odd interest in both).

Is the plural of genius, genii? I think so but...

Do you love DH, HBP, OotP, GoF, PoA, CoS, and SS/PS, and know what all those initials stand for?

Do you spend a lot of time wishing Hogwarts existed? (I've had fantasies).

Do you like clichés even though they are clichés? I love them because of this fact.

Do you secretly wish that mythical creatures exist (dragons, unicorns, phoenixes, etc.). (So not a secret, more a desire. Again I've had fantasies).

You know your addiction to Harry Potter is getting dangerous when you've added words like "Voldemort", "Hogwarts", and "Marauders" to your computer's dictionary. (Something that’s in the process of happening. Some of it is already there, not sure when that happened but I often do slightly odd things to my computer out of boredom. So...).

Has your butt gone numb from sitting at your computer to long?

Did you always know that there was good in Severus Snape? (I always pegged Snape as being a nasty good guy. I'm rather fond of his snarky ambiguity)

If you're in denial over Tonks’s and Lupin’s deaths (Hell yeh. Sirius too. I love their characters).

Do you solemnly swear you are up to no good? (Always. I like a loophole).
