Twelve years on, and I'm still registered here. I think that says something.

From late 2000 through to mid-2007, I used the pen-name Ayrki on various forums, websites, mailing lists, and blog-sites. After this point -and a couple of additional months, I then settled upon a new name: Tristian Makhai. So, if you see this name here, or on any of the particular stories (or even off-site), it's still me. After 2007/2008, Life took over and proceeded to kick my ass pretty liberally with family drama, heartbreak, and completely losing my way with words. Oh, and that whole working thing. As of the end of 2012, I am still refusing to think the words have given up on me, so while it's been a few years, don't count me out yet.

Only a fraction of my work is showcased here, namely my earliest works as updated at the time, with most others being posted solely to mailing lists, forums, or communities at the time of their publishing due simply to the fact I wasn't keen on reformatting everything to post here again. And I tended to forget to post them. Mostly, I just forgot, and then became too intimidated by the notion of uploading 10 plus years of scribbling.
