![]() Author has written 24 stories for Sailor Moon, Harry Potter, Office, School Rumble, and Life is Strange. Updating: I started writing fanfic in 2002, which is a very long time ago. It's amazing how much the world has changed since then. I initially started writing after seeing some fantastic fan art for Sailor Moon, specifically Ami/Mako art. The very idea of a F/F pairing back then was scandalous and rare. Yaoi was a thing, even way back then but yuri or shoujo-ai was frequently condemned to sordid corners of the web. Of course, this was long before Tumblr or reddit. :) In any case, back in the day, I wrote a whole bunch of SM fanfics, almost exclusively Ami/Mako, but also Rei/Mina (It's canon, read the manga). If you're interested in those Sailor Moon pairings, or Sailor Moon in general, please go read my "Best Friends" or my magnum opus, "The Interregnum." For other "classics" of that early era in SM fanfic, please read the works by Sailor Doc and Crawlspace. They rule!! My next main burst of creativity and fanfic writing came after I read the Harry Potter books. I got onto the Potter bandwagon right around when Order of the Phoenix came out. Most of my stories were written just before or after Half Blood Prince (and yes, I shipped Harry/Ginny before that book!), so now they are somewhat out of date, since they don't really fit the official narrative ending. Most are still viable, though, so if you like Harry Potter, I hope you'll check those out. I think my best one there is "Just Friends" but the "Dudley Dursley" story is pretty unique. Since then, there have been a couple works of fiction which really inspired me to write. I got into the US version of the Office right around S3 and wrote some Jim/Pam fics from that era. That show went maybe one or two seasons too long, sadly, but it was really great for a long time. The School Rumble anime inspired another fic. Most recently, I was blown away by the video game "Life is Strange" and the visual novel fan-work "Love is Strange." That's got me writing again, though I probably only have the one story in me. Anyway, thanks for reading this far and for your interest in my work. If you have the time and inclination, please leave reviews. Reviews are the lifeblood of the fanfic author (at least this one). Fave and Kudos are all well and good, but nothing beats a review, no matter how critical or fawning. :) Desslok PS. If you like my work and like anime, go watch "My Teenage Romantic Comedy SNAFU". Trust me. |
