I am December Morning Owl, and have been around this site since long long ago. I think I started by reading Slam Dunk or Final Fantasy 7 fanfiction, and had always wanted to write my own stories. That impulse was finally released when I put fingers to keyboard during the final days of me finishing one of my original works. I was at university at the time, and the Harry Potter craze was still internationally boiling, and the circumstances gave birth to my only fanfiction piece, "Neville Longbottom and the Harry Potter". I claimed at the start it is just for fun, and fun it did bring me in my small revolt on things I disagreed with the original books or points I wanted to elaborate and unravel.

From my immaturity, since the its initial conception, the scope of this project has always been far too big for me to reasonably manage. Not to mention how scenes and ideas explodes during the writing, real life throws at you more delays than even procrastinations and writer's blocks. Regretful to say, the story is left on indefinite hiatus. In an attempt at redemption, and just wanting to release those ideas from my shoddy notes’ prison, I have written synopses of the years, and short epilogue of notable characters for amusement.

I find it difficult to understand the professional authors who deny fanfiction any place in the world. Being an interest to me for so many years, both as reader and writer, people have fun and are entertained on the works here. People are passionate about this, and it is as much a creative outlet as any fiction is. Although I probably will be unable to write any more due to ‘real life’, I thank my readers for your support and criticism through the years.
