Jess here. Careful not to step in the One Piece. I write a whole lot of stuff about Franky, Usopp, and Sanji. I hope that's okay. Staunch lover of shounen manga and Steven Universe. Also just recently fell into Overwatch and Voltron: Legendary Defender hell.

Fair warning for the reading public: I'm pretty gay. If you're looking for het ship fics, it'll usually be Frobin or nothing at all. Please feel free to make suggestions or requests though. Most of the time I do gen fics, and I tag whatever stories have ships in them. I also tend not to post sexually explicit fics on here. Please pay attention to the warnings I've issued in the summaries and author's notes.

Eleven Days With the Cursed Sword - One Piece. Zoro's gotten lost again, but this time he doesn't come back. The only thing that's left of him is the Sandai Kitetsu and a feeling in Sanji's gut that there's more to the sword than its legendary misfortune. Until he finds out for sure, there's nothing he can do but take care of the orphaned blade. When he suddenly begins to change for the worse, his crew slowly loses faith in him. But none of them know that the closer he comes to the brink of madness, the closer he comes to finding Zoro. Sanji-centric with memories of Zoro. Summary and content may or may not change slightly. Hopefully will be multiple chapters. - INDEFINITE HIATUS - With all the developments to Sanji's backstory in 2017, and a few other problems, I don't see how I can continue this story without a huge upheaval of effort. I'm not counting it out just yet, but don't be too hopeful. Thank you so much for all the support for this fic.

Return to the Earth - Usopp, grandson of a daitengu, has lived in the Upper Yard mountain temple since birth. Raised under ascetic mountain priests and taught to abandon the world, Usopp aspires to be a priest himself. However, because of mounting political struggle between village humans and forest tengu in the valley below, a fateful shooting of a human on temple grounds, and a blue-haired woodsman whose rifle was the weapon of choice, Usopp becomes forced to flee the temple, leaving behind his childhood and his sensei Pagaya, who helped him escape. He takes refuge with the same woodsman, Franky, who along with some friends helps introduce Usopp to the world beyond humans and tengu. The story of Usopp’s recovery from losing his dream, his determination to save the tengu he once lived with, and his introduction to a brand new world finds its importance less in the great strides he makes as a person and more in the friendships he gains that teach him things he didn’t know about himself. - IN PROGRESS - Chapters 1 and 2 uploaded
