 Author has written 5 stories for Supernatural, and Sons of Anarchy. I'm thirty-something, from Australia, and I only discovered fanfiction very recently. I discovered it because the network that screens Supernatural (one of my favourite shows) over here has been completely dicking us around with the screening of season five. We got five eps, a three month 'hiatus' another five eps and then, well, it's been on 'hiatus' ever since. My family and I did eventually manage to 'somehow' get the remainder of the season but before we managed that, I had to feed my addiction somehow, which led me to fanfic! So thanks to everyone for all the amazing work out there. Myself, I've been writing fction for fun for a number of years and just sharing it with friends and family. Fanfic seemed like an opportunity to try my hand at something new and share it with a wider group. So far I've just written one little ficlet but I'm working on a longer one... I'm a huge fan of sci fi/fantasy, particularly urban fantasy, and I love character driven shows, with excellent plot lines and good writing (I don't want much, I know!) I also enjoy a bit of gritty urban realism. My favourite current tv shows include: Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Dexter, Life, Dr Who. And yes, I do have DVDs of Stargate SG-1, BtVS, Angel and X-files in my tv cabinet - and the Harry Potter series on my book shelf! |
