Considering not all characters in a fandom get the same attention to their motives and thoughts, I aim to explore these extensively in my stories Character Biographies (Covers only the stories and will be changed as they progress): (These are the main characters that I had included in my stories so far. Because their personalities aren't developed much in their fandoms, I am giving them brand new ones! Some of them may be OOC...but that depends on you.) 1. Sauron (Dawn of Another Day): He is a Maia and formerly Dark Lord of Mordor. Previously serving Morgoth, the original fallen Vala, he has walked on the ruinous path to the Void for thousands of years. The people of Middle-earth has been at war with him at least two ages. Sauron was sent back to Middle-earth for some unknown reason upon his defeat when the One Ring was destroyed. Personality: He is very stubborn and sticks to his ideas once he has them, yielding to no one else's. Refusing to have his pride bent, he gets along well with no one with his rebelliousness, especially those who have a position of authority higher than he. Sauron has a short temper and isn't afraid of letting it show. But underneath all that is an ancient fear of his former master Morgoth. 2. The Witch King of Angmar (Dawn of Another Day/The Price of a Free Mind): He was once a man, but was transformed into an undead wraith when he accepted one of the Nine Rings of Power from Sauron. The Witch King has been rebelling against Sauron since the drowning of Númenor and holds a bitter grudge against his master. He is less than pleased when he finds out that Sauron is also sent back to Middle-earth. Personality: He is usually quiet and never speaks more than necessary. But the Witch King isn't afraid to speak or fight for what is right. Very serious in every situation, he assesses everything calmly. Sauron is the only one who could break his icy calm, for the Witch King hates him for his deeds against Numenor and the two of them clash often. 3. Xemnas (100 Musings of the Superior): He is the Superior of Organization XIII and the Lord of Nobodies. Aiming to restore the other members and himself to their complete selves, he has been tirelessly working to complete Kingdom Hearts. Xemnas is a well respected (and sometimes feared) leader among the members, but that will be susceptible to change... Personality: Some will say that he is very serious, but some will say that he is quite quirky. Usually Xemnas is quite sociable to the other members and sometimes even joins in their activities. Being always a steadfast and caring leader, the others were very shocked to see him change gradually as he became ruthless, cold and tyrannical. 4. Megatron (The Many Incidents of Courtship): One would expect the leader of a military faction to be committed entirely to the effort of the Great War, but the Decepticon leader is somewhat of an oddity. Though determined to triumph over the Autobots and bring about a reformation of the Cybertronian government, Megatron is also persistent in trying to court one of his newest recruits, Starscream. Personality: Megatron is a surprisingly lenient and easygoing mech when one gets to know him more, and is often seen fooling around with his subordinates. He can be considered as the life of a party, in other words. When serious, Megatron rarely quits at any of his goals even when he meets many difficulties. However, his outward casual behavior seems to hide his true self... 5. Starscream (The Many Incidents of Courtship): The head of the Decepticon Science Division, Starscream, never understood what he did to deserve the unwanted attention from his leader, so as a result he is currently stuck with an infatuated warlord. Though irritated at Megatron's constant courting attempts, his ambitions to become second-in-command are not quailed. Currently he is still rejecting towards the other's advances; will he start to soften up towards Megatron when he realizes that he might be actually sincere? Personality: Prone to rants and quick-tempered, there aren't many mechs who would dare to cross Starscream in the fear of receiving his signature "Seeker scratching treatment". However, he possesses a sharp mind and the talent of extensive strategy making beneath his unapproachable exterior. Starscream is also subject to strong emotions easily, so as a result he can be easily moved if one knew how. He could only hope that Megatron doesn't know this... This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley, she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t re-post it? Re-post this if you truly believe in God, and even if you don't. Even when you can’t see him GOD is there! If you believe in GOD put this in your profile If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't just ignore this, because in the Bible it says, ‘If you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master... He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher... He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer... He had no army, yet kings feared him... He won no military battles, yet he conquered the World... He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today Feel honored to serve such a leader who loves us... If you believe in God and Jesus Christ his Son then copy and paste this in your profile If you ignore him, in the Holy Bible, Jesus says... " If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven..." You may be obsessed with Lord of the Rings if: You invoke the name of Elbereth against Twilight movie posters. (Ah, that is a very good idea. I have never tried it though.) You tape your ears to make them pointy. (Not an Elf fan!) You try to communicate with trees. (The Ents are cool, but I'm not obsessed with them enough to start doing this.) You keep an eye out for the Entwives. (Still looking!) You name buildings after places in Middle-earth. (Getting there XD) You shout "Aiya Eärendil elenion ancalima!" whenever you see Venus or turn on a flashlight. (Haha, Quenya pronunciations are not my forté, but I can tell you the origin of that phrase.) You call the Big Dipper the Sickle of the Valar. (Don't usually see the Big Dipper though...) You can recite family lines from the Appendices without looking. (Sort of. I often get confused between the sons of Feanor, Fingolfin and Finarfin. The family tree of the People of Haleth is a pain to memorize too. Seriously, their names all spell similar.) Your family knows not to ask you a question about LotR - they will get a long complex lecture when they just want a simple answer. (Oh yes! Nobody ever asks me stuff about LOTR anymore.) You can talk for ten minutes about something in the books, but you fuss at anyone else who speaks. (Oh yeah!) You don't really need to watch the moves AGAIN, because you have all the dialog memorized - for the Extended Edition. (Most of it.) You cry at some point during all three movies. (Not sure how this makes me obsessed though...) You stop in your tracks and salivate whenever you see a LOTR item you don't have. (Ah, I would rather save my saliva for something I can actually afford.) You have a concentrated area of Middle-earth studies. (The Ainur and the First Age all the way!) You have read every book by the Tolkien Estate that mentions anything Lord of the Rings related. (Getting there slowly! It's ridiculously difficult to get a complete set of History of Middle-earth.) You know the obscure names of places and people that no one has bothered to remember. (Aced this in our Tolkien class Jeopardy games) You have extensive headcanons for more than five characters You know all of the best LOTR parody/humor videos You smile and nod your head as you read this. You copy and paste this into your profile. You add to this list when putting it in your profile. |
