This is my first attempt at fiction. I know I'm a bit slow at it, but please be patient with me. These things take time.

I'm hoping to recapture a little bit the feeling of adventure from the earlier books, when Harry was first exploring Hogwarts and learning about wizarding Britain. In keeping with that, I'm going to try to avoid strong language and explicit "adult content", although a few naughty words and deeds might creep in occasionally. ;-)

I'm trying to be mostly (but not completely) compliant with the books and/or the movies. No guarantees for the Epilogue, though, or Magical Beasts, or Quidditch Through the Ages, or Beadle the Bard. And I'm not going to pay any attention at all to the interviews and "Pottermore".

Do I really need a disclaimer? If so: Anything you recognize from the books and/or movies belongs to JKR and others (as if you didn't know!). You can blame the rest of it on me, and no, I'm not making any money from this exercise.
