Author has written 29 stories for Warriors, Pokémon, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, Final Fantasy X, Yu-Gi-Oh, Homestuck, Misc. Plays/Musicals, and Mario. Deltra would care for a beta reader, but is, sadly, too lazy to go out and find one. Characterization isn't a problem, just anyone with time to kill every month or so who can help with her self taught grammar and atrocious spelling would be nice. If you are interested or know someone who might be, don't hesitate to PM her. Really, she's not as mean as she might seem in the below information. She just wrote this all at a really late time of night. Thank you for your time. USERNAME, Deltra 307 on here, although most know me as Pharaoh Leap (or simply Leap) around the Internet. AGE, older than I feel. PRONOUNS, she/her, but I'm pretty chill with whatever one might call me. BIRTHDAY, March 16th. LIKES, standard fare, really. Clearly I'm a writer, else you wouldn't see me on here at all, but I spend more time play-by-post roleplaying on dedicated forums than writing any novellas or drabbles – although, admittedly, I wish I did more of the latter – and probably spend more time than either of those writing way too long character histories for character applications that no one in their right minds would ever want to read. I draw, mostly traditionally with a bit of pixel art mixed in there, and sing, much to the annoyance of those around me; both of these are things I enjoy. Anime, manga, video games... the whole shibang. You've heard it before. I'm also a big fan of rock operas, as seen by my recent works revolving around the very specific rock opera Operation: Mindcrime, although I'm a big rock (read: hard rock/heavy metal) fan in general, concept album or no. Oddly enough, if it's not metal music coming through the speakers, it's likely smooth jazz. The logical substitute, really. I enjoy website design and coding quite a bit and would like to dabble more in the world of programming, but another day. Pasta could fuel me for months without a word of complaint, rain makes me a happy camper, and oversized sweaters are my life. DISLIKES, the common idea that all fanfiction authors are terrible writers, for one thing. At the very least, there's something admirable in the way you all can write full length stories with no more compensation than a couple of favorites and a review on your work. Other than that, not a lot of things get under my skin; whether that's from apathy, positivity, or ignorance, well... the world may never know. I don't like being drawn on, though, for one thing, and pizza could throw itself out a window if it was able. FANDOMS, Pokemon above all else. It's my default universe for most things, mostly because it's what I'm most comfortable with. My favorite anime as of the last five years is Puella Magi Madoka Magica, closely followed by Mob Psycho 100 - although, truly, ONE could write a grocery list and it'd be pretty high up on my list of favorite things. A few other notable anime include: Darker Than Black, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, One-Punch Man, Robotech, and virtually anything by Clamp. Yu-Gi-Oh!'s early manga continues to hold a big place in my heart, although otherwise could be said for just about anything after volume seven. Previously mentioned was Operation: Mindcrime, though I'm hesitant to list that seeing as I'm probably the only member of it's "fandom". Fire Emblem, Legend of Zelda, and Shin Megami Tensei are a few series of video games that I absolutely adore, along with some single games like OFF, Seventh Dragon III, and the new NeiR: Automata. Webcomics to note would include Homestuck - yes, yes, I'm one of those - and the always hilarious Paranatural. I could go on, really, but I like to imagine that gives you a good idea of the sort of content I get a little too into. STORY STATUSES, well, if you read this the last time, it had a great big ol' list of all of these old stories of mine and why I hated them and no longer wished to keep 'em running, save for a few sorry exceptions. In truth, though, looking at my account now, I can't think of a single story here aside from the most recent, Freiheit Ouverture, that seems worth saving. Fan favorites from the past have probably been all but forgotten by now, and rightfully so. I still cringe a little at my characterization of the cast of Pokemon Special in 25 Ways to Make Sure You're Insane (although, in the defense of my younger self, I hadn't actually read anything past the GSC arc at the time and was relying solely on other fanfictions' characterization as a reference - but to counter that, I probably shouldn't have been writing as characters I was unfamiliar with in the first place). Other stories that weren't so bad as far as writing quality and characterization, unfortunately, have had their plots lost to time, and I honestly can't remember where I was going with some of these. In short: It's safe to assume that all of the fanfiction you see below are discontinued and are only here to serve as a reminder of how terrible of a writer I was (and maybe still am?). This does, however, exclude Freitheit Ouverture and maybe, just maybe Tell Me Where It Hurts, both of which you can expect to see updates on in the... very distant future. Otherwise, I plan to start working on game-verse Wedlocke novelization set in Johto with a... rather wild plot, to say the least, as well as a Pokemon Special fic set in the region of Orre, so hopefully I can make up for any disappointment by providing something else you'll never see finished. Until then. o/ |
