Hi everyone! As you might have guessed, I'm Zack. What? You hadn't guessed? Oh, wait – you're joking. Obviously. Heh heh.

Anyway, I'm an avid Doctor Who fan. Why are you an avid Doctor Who fan? you ask. You didn't ask that? Oh. I'm going to answer you anyway. Because I am able to say that I've watched every episode of series 1-5 at least three times (excluding The Impossible Planet, which I only watched once after discovering that the Beast was the Devil, and The Satan Pit, which I never watched because it was the second part of the aforementioned Devil-containing episode). Yes, I am really that sad.

But that doesn't by definition make you an avid Doctor Who fan, you say. That just means you've far too much time on your hands! Well, I also have memorised the locations, names and functions of all the major controls of the TARDIS. And, as MayFairy can testify, I also have a diagram of the control panel and know the materialisation and dematerialisation sequences. I kid you not. Yes, I am really THAT sad, too.

However, enough boasting already. Other basic facts: I'm nineteen years old, I live in the UK, I like making movies in my spare time (usually action movies with explosions and suchlike), I am an Apple Mac person, I'm a private pilot, and I'm nearly as obsessed with cars as I am with Doctor Who.

Other TV shows that I like to watch (from time to time – my knowledge of every other TV show that I watch put together wouldn't equal that I possess of Doctor Who) are Stargate, QI, Top Gear (although I seem to have drifted away from it), the Gadget Show and Fifth Gear. Oh, and Sherlock. Couldn't forget Sherlock!

So, about my fics. My first Doctor Who fic was 'The Planet of Pain', which was a half-decent first attempt but not much else. My second fic was 'Seeing Double', and it seemed relatively popular. Unfortunately, exams (and personal matters) caught up with me and so it got shelved. So, I'm now working on my third fic, 'Bright-Eyed Wonder'. I've gone all professional with that one. I've got a plan and everything! You'll probably like it. I'm afraid that updates aren't ever very regular with me - especially at the moment with exams. I'm just so busy!

It's probably worth my recommending some other good fics I've read on this site. MayFairy's 'Deafening Silence' and 'In Between the Shadows' are really good, as are ShainaNight's 'Fountain of Youth', 'Onwards', 'Home is Where the TARDIS is' and 'Across the Universe'. If you're into AU and OC stuff, SuperFunkyGirl1 has written a cracking fic with her own character Melanie called 'Anything But Ordinary'.
