So, i'm back. I don't know for how long, but hopefully for a while this time. I don't take myself as seriously as before and I write for myself. It made it a lot more fun to do. If you like my work, let me know!

Everything I write is in Cartoonverse. I haven't even seen the movies, and i'm honestly not too interested in them.

Also, I forgot to include this. Most people on the site think I'm a woman and i'm actually not. I'm a man, for what it's worth.

I've been having more conversations with more people and one of them prompted me to post this. The basic development of my characters in Slanted and Enchanted.

"People change, and I really try to develop the characters before the story starts, giving the reader something absolutely different. For all the characters, not just Jeanette obviously, I took them and looked into the future based on my own interactions and experiences with people. Simon is the most unchanged person in the bunch because he's set in his ways; I feel like he's the most consistent and rigid character out of the group. If you haven't gotten their yet, I hint at Alvin and Brittney being completely different, with flashes of their old selves. Later, that shines through more, but Alvin is a more mature, calmed down individual, mellowed out the by mistakes and experiences of his past. Time tested, he's seen what can happen and decided to not let it happen again. Nevertheless, he's not a completely different person, and his old self still persists, the short sighed and egotistical child he's been portrayed as. Brittney, world weary from Alvin's deceptions and mistreatments in the past becomes more crass and bitter after all her experiences, but hides it from her siblings well. She's still in love with Alvin, and he's all she's ever wanted, but she's learned that it may never work. This sends her deeper, more destructive for the invisible fix. I already explained Jeanette. Theodore, after being in the shadow of his other brothers looked inward for true happiness and found it with Eleanor, after failing to complete himself from within. Violently wanting to be his own person, he realized that he would fall short alone. Eleanor has always been caring and driven. She found Theodore, and forged their understanding of the world together through successes. Together, they've figured out at a young age what to do to be happy.

Overall, people chill out as they get older. They take stock of their lives and get ready to pursue dreams. Shallow things don't bother them anymore; they mature and become more adept at conflict resolution. They all went through the natural changes that time brings."

People often ask me why I write OoC so often and that's really why. People simply change, and I write from a point much later. Theodore isn't going to still be a pushover. Alvin isn't going to be self involved. As we mature, we change and leave parts of us behind. Are you the same as you were at 8? Even a year later, a month later, a week later, a day later, those moments of existence have changed you ever so slightly in most cases, drastically in others. We move, evolve, change. We are never the same.
