![]() Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter, and Avengers. About me: 27-year-old med student with a love for reading. Which sometimes translates into a love for writing. Current fandoms: Harry Potter, Avengers. Too terrified for my sanity to jump into any more (but it will probably happen anyway ...). Pet peeves: When it comes to writing, I sadly have quite a few of these. Spelling! Grammar! Punctuation! Mostly because a few minutes with the handy spellcheck can fix the majority of these quite well. Things that make me want to scream in frustration include using 'then' instead of 'than', and the use of 'should of' instead of 'should have' makes me shed actual tears. Specific to Harry Potter, I have come across the usage of Dursley's instead of Dursleys and Gringott's instead of Gringotts, which breaks my heart into itty bitty pieces. So please, if you spot any of these (or others) in any of my stories, let me know! Another thing that has bothered me is the inclusion of 'slash' in the warnings, which I think is highly unnecessary. People almost never add 'het' as a warning, so I find it a bit of a discriminating double standard to warn for 'slash'. That being said, I think for the moment I will have to eat my words and add at least a general 'will have homosexuality' mention or something of the sort, because we don't live in an ideal world where anyone could go into a piece of work without having assumptions about ... anything, really :( Work(s) completed: A Thousand Yous and Only One of Me - HP - Harry Potter/Death - 3022 words Summary: Harry's day was not going the way he had envisioned it. Some running away, seeing Minerva, more running, some hiding – that was all predictable. But this whole encounter with Death had thrown him completely off balance, like he was the butt end of a cosmic joke. Stop and Smell the Hellebore - HP - Harry Potter/Neville Longbottom - 5511 words Summary: After the war, Harry had retreated into the manor at Grimmauld Place and lived the life of a recluse. Neville had seen neither hide nor hair of him in the last few months – the last year, even. Suddenly, Harry is back in his life, with a very strange request. Work(s) in progress: Don't Judge a Master by Its Death - HP - Harry Potter/George Weasley - Ch 15 in progress Summary: Harry walks to his death, and speaks with Dumbledore. But why was it Dumbledore and not his parents? Or even Sirius or Remus? As events unfold, Harry realises that things were not as they seemed, and black and white are but two shades of an infinite continuum. Even If You Miss (You'll Land Among the Stars) - HP/Avengers - Harry Potter/Thor - Ch 6 in progress Summary: It had been a simple request. Retrieve the human immortal, one Harry Potter, from Midgard. But after a slew of failed attempts, it is up to Thor to fulfil his father's order and capture the elusive wizard. The Come and Go Room - HP (may include crossovers) - sporadic updates Summary: “Sometimes it is there, and sometimes it is not …” – Dobby (OotP Ch. 18). Drabbles about anything and everything related to the world of Harry Potter, whenever they strike my fancy. Prompts are welcome! We Have but Two Lives - HP - Gen - Ch 6 in progress Summary: ... the second begins when we realise we only have one. In his second year at Hogwarts, Fawkes’ tears are not as effective as expected, and Harry dies in the Chamber of Secrets during his encounter with young Tom Riddle … Only to wake up in a parallel universe where James and Lily Potter are among the living, along with many other familiar faces. Work(s) planned: I will try not to abandon anything I start as I know how much heartbreak it causes me, but as I cannot see the future, it will remain an endeavour and not a promise. Reviews are like little pots of gold at the end of a chapter/story. Even if it's just an 'interesting story!', I promise it is received with lots of love! Also, feel free to message me, I'm quite friendly! :) AO3: eternalchange Prompts are welcome—maybe they'll spark something during the times when my brain is stuck! Update: I am definitely working on all my works in progress! School has thrown a major wrench in things (I'm finding that I barely have time to do normal things like my laundry), so I've been a bit short on time. But I've been adding a few words to all of them when I can :) Thank you for all the comments and follows/faves in the meantime! |
