![]() Author has written 12 stories for Robin Hood BBC, Step Up, Harry Potter, Gossip Girl, and Sherlock. Hey I'm Reuben, I'm twenty and I'm obviously here because I love to write. The stuff I've posted is a mixed bag - some I wrote ages ago, some is more recent...so hopefully the more recent stuff has improved. *wide grin* I fell off the edge of the Earth for a while, but I'm slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things. Starting with 'restraint' which is the follow up to 'Frisson'. A lot of people were peeved when i didn't continue it, and a lot of people were eager for a sequel, so I'm working on it. Had to sort of wiggle around in Alana's shoes for a while, because she wasn't very familiar, but I think I've reacquainted myself with her feisty ways ;) I am British, and so if my story is set in America, you'll have to forgive the hashed American colloquialisms. I do try, and I don't think I'm too bad. I put 'Mom' and everything. Anyway, feel free to message me. I nearly always reply to reviews because I'm so grateful to get them and it's my goal to give people a boost by leaving my own. I'm always up for a chat about literature and stories, maybe collabs if I like the idea. My best friend moved to the USA and so I literally have nothing but FF now. I'm always interested in artists who may or may not feel inclined to draw my OC's or create banners for my stories - in fact, I'd be pretty grateful since I'm not great at that myself! So let me know if you do so. A Few Quick Questions... If you could marry a HP character, who would it be: Remus Lupin. Everytime. Sorry Snape. Who are you crushing on: Hahaha, crushing? Benedict Cumberbatch actually, the new Sherlock Holmes here in the UK. So talented. Last book you bought: Ah, it was Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke What is your favourite FF you've written: Well, Frisson and Restraint are my more popular ones, but as far as favourites go I'd have to say Shadowmonger. I'm really emotional invested in the Oc in that story - Rowan - and have been on and off working on that story for years (even though it's completed on this site, that version needs editing). I've even done lame-o things like create a Wiki-style bio for her and other things that I should never admit to. How do you get yourself in the 'writing zone': Well, I can write anywhere but sweat pants, shut door, hot water bottle. Just forget everyone else exists. If you had to be transported inside a book, which one: Waaaaaay too hard a question. It'd either be Inkheart (oh, the irony), the HP books, or somewhere equally as fantastical. You wish you could: Either dance, or play an instrument. Terrible at both. |
